About the home

This villa is built to optimise comfortable living in the sun to a high standard . The temperature in the house remains cool during the day. The living and dining area of the house faces south, out on to the expansive 150m2 decking and pool area. There are plenty of sunbathing areas in the open part of the terrace and the pool where the sun shines most of the day. There is also plenty of open garden around the house. There are BBQ areas, bikes, boules and a host of other outdoor activities which make outdoor living fun all day. Garden furniture and charcoal BBQ provided.

Ideal for families with a large garden to enjoy and yet a private enclosed feel. With only a 5 minutes drive to both the sea and Hossegor and shops a few minutes walk away (butchers, bakers, local shop, florist, news agents etc.)

The living area boasts 46inch flatscreen TV, with UK freeview and DVD player. The dining and seating areas are more than comfortable for 8 people. The large kitchen features full appliances including dishwasher and drying and washing machines in the adjoining utility room. Two bedrooms downstairs both have French doors opening onto the garden and one with an en-suite bathroom. A further family bathroom (with separate bath and shower) completes the downstairs living accommodation with 2 further bedrooms upstairs. One with large windows overlooking the front garden and the other is an en-suite with a south facing balcony and French doors overlooking the terrace and the pool. The two top bedrooms have built in wardrobes.

The house sits in the centre of the 1800m plot with well kept gardens and outdoor areas. The new, large 150m2 decked area, with built in lighting and the pool area are a sun trap and yet are very secluded. The whole deck/pool area is expansive and has outside table and chairs for eating by the pool. Complete with sun loungers and sun-umbrella the outside of this property offers everything you would wish for to enjoy the weather in the privacy of your own space.

The Aquitaine / Dordogne / Landes region

The Landes region of France has lond golden sandy beaches and beautiful surf coastline. The pine forests surrounding the area add a beautiful charming atmosphere and the area is ideal for families with many activities on offer.

The Hossegor / Seignosse area

Notorious for surfing and stunning beaches Seignosse also has pine forests, nature reserves, great cycling and walking circuits and golf - the reknowned Seignosse course is 2km away from the villa. Biarritz and San Sebastian are a short drive away where there are plenty of culinary and shopping delights to be had. The Michelin starred Akelarre restaurant can be found in San Sebastian. The yearly "Fete de Seignosse" happens in August. There is the world renknowned "Fete de Bayonne" - a 4 day festival with live music and concerts held in Bayonne centre every year towards the end of July beginning of August. "Latinossegor" is a yearly 3 day latin music festival which takes place on the Place des Landais facing the ocean at the end of August.

Ryan Air and Easyjet operate daily flights to Biarritz from multiple UK airports (incl. London, Luton, Birmingham, Bristol).
Seignosse is approx 7 hours drive from St Malo and 2 hours drive from Bilbao.
TGV runs from Paris several times a day and offers an overnight service to Biarritz (you can put the car on the train too!)
Car hire is available from all airports and most major towns in the area
