Village Farm is a stunning large 3 bed farm house, situated in a small village close to the coastal town, Hornsea. Recently refurbished to an extremely high standard, it still has many of it's original features, like the beautiful wooden beams running through the downstairs rooms. It has a cosy yet modern feel and the underfloor heating makes it extra special.

It's a great house for groups of couples who are looking for a holiday together yet still wanting some privacy, this is enabled with a giant ensuite off the main bedroom and an extra living room downstairs. Likewise it's very family friendly, the kids can have their own bedroom and bathroom so parents can have some space to relax.

Within easy driving distance to many popular towns and cities it's a great location, whether you want the beach, the town or perhaps both!

Seaton is situated on the East Coast, just under 3.5 miles away from Hornsea. It's a quiet, rural village with a great country pub serving delicious home cooked meals. The local town is Hornsea which has many great facilities including rowing on the mere, the Hornsea Freeport shopping outlet, not to mention the beach and some great fish and chip shops!

Within a 3 mile radius of Seaton there is two golf courses, many pubs, a shooting range, a watersports centre and horse riding activities. Within an hours drive you can get to the historic city of York which is excellent for shopping and there is many museums there, plus the stunning York Minister. Beverley is 10 miles away and is another beautiful historic town with a great race course. If you fancy a scenic drive, the Yorkshire Dales is just an hour and a half drive.

Seaton is peaceful and quiet, but a well located village being so close to many popular towns and cities.

"Cosy farmhouse"

We stayed here for a week in April with various family members staying. The Property is spacious with good size rooms and tastefully Decorated . The rear of the property backed on to a working farm, which was a plus for the little ones in our party. There was enough parking space here for several cars. We visited The pub across the road several times as the food was good, with lots of choice. A lovely house to stay in.

"Quaint Country Retreat"

Stayed for a long easter weekend at Village Farm, we travelled from North Yorkshire and found the directions reasonably good. We were greeted by the lovely owner Heidi who welcomed us with cakes and easter treats (very yummy)! Once Heidi had covered the basics we were left to our own devices.

The property is a roomy 3 bed which has been recently renovated from an old farm house, It has been done very sympathetically and has a real country style. We didn't need all the room but since the rates were competitive we settled on this property. The house provides all the facilities we needed for a long weekend, well stocked kitchen and utility with dining table. Lounge with tv and dvd player along with master and en-suite.

We did use the games room which I thought was a nice touch, there was no internet at the property but the owner mentioned it was being installed soon. The underfloor heating was straightforward to use.

All in all a great stay with off street parking and good access to the coast and nearby towns like Beverley.
