My wife and I stay quite often at Ivan's cottages and I cannot think of a bad word for him! His welcome, his effort and his whole attitude make this a place we will stay at for years. Nothing is … More

We stayed in Burnt Yards cottage, 5 adults, one 11 year old and one 18 month old and one dog! Plenty of room for everyone. The cottage is very spacious and clean. the surrounding area is lovely.
Ivan is very helpful, if you need anything at the cottage he is there immediately and very happy to help. The fresh eggs he brought us were great.
The cottages could do with a few more things, such as bin bags, toilet rolls etc (although had we have asked Ivan I'm sure he would have produced these!).
We went to Holkham beach which is really nice. Had a meal out at the New Inn, Beetley, that was excellent. we walked to the Brisley Inn which is about a mile and a half, it's a nice walk, the pub isn't that great though!
We would definitely stay again

"A comfortable cottage in a great location, where we could all relax and unwind, we'll be back."
Our host was extremely helpful and friendly, ensuring we had all we needed. Our children were welcomed, and allowed to explore the grounds, which is a rare luxury.
Our cottage was great value for money, well maintained, and ideally located for our many days out across the norfolk coastline, with only a 20 minute drive to all my favourite spots. The property is hidden away in a small and quiet little village which makes it a fabulous place to relax and unwind and get a good nights sleep at the end of each day.

"Beautiful location and friendly reception"
The owner gave us such a lovely warm welcome, and some free range eggs, a real treat! We stayed for a long weekend, with young children...the cot and high hair were provided for us, plenty of towels and more if we wanted. The wet room wasn't ideal for us with small children, but I would imagine it is great for others, and especially well equipped for wheelchair users. We would definitely go again.
