Located on the River Bure in the northern Norfolk Broads, this is a perfect base from which to explore the villages and broads of Wroxham, Coltishall, Salhouse and Ranworth, all easily accessible in one of our day cruisers. A half hour drive will take you to the historic City of Norwich, the seaside resort of Great Yarmouth or the beautiful coastline of North Norfolk. The picturesque village of Horning boasts several riverside pubs and restaurants; a range of shops including a delicatessen, post office, butchers, newsagent and gift shops are all within walking distance of Ferry Marina. The family-friendly Ferry Inn is a few minutes walk and is open every day. There is also a beauty and hairdressing salon close by. Our popular Helska leisure centre offers an indoor heated swimming pool (entry included), spa, sauna, steam room, solarium and games room (charges apply).

The East Anglia / Norfolk region

Horning area

How to get there
We are located in a village location by the river, about 20 minutes drive from Norwich.
From Norwich, take the A1151 and proceed to Wroxham. Go through village and turn right onto A1062 signposted Horning. Continue for approx. 2 miles, then turn right into Horning village. Continue to end of Lower Street. Turn right into Ferry Road (turning opposite telephone box). Ferry Marina is on the left hand side.
