Situated on the main River Bure in the picturesque village of Horning on the Norfolk Broads. Close to all facilities. The cottage is fully equipped for up to six people. Relax in comfort and watch the boats go by, fish (in season) from the garden quayside decking, or just enjoy the wildlife. Boat hire is available in the village and a day boat can be moored at the cottage. Free mooring and fishing. Parking is available for two cars.

Riverbank is a three bedroom cottage with a riverside garden. Light and sunny in summer, cosy in winter. The cottage sleeps six in three bedrooms. There is a king size bed in the master bedroom, a double bed in the second bedroom, and two single beds in the third bedroom which leads off bedroom 2. There is a bathroom upstairs, and a cloakroom with WC downstairs. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave oven, washer/dryer, fridge and dual fuel range cooker. The dining area has a table and six chairs, and the large comfortable sitting room has french windows leading to a terrace and the garden with views over the river to the conservation area beyond. There is a 28" freeview television, video and DVD player. Gas central heating is included and bed linen is provided.

The Norfolk Broads are a series of inland waterways famous for boating and wildlife.
The Horning area
The village has a post office, butcher, newsagent/provisions, gift shop, several restaurants and three pubs. Boat hire is available in the village and there is a leisure centre with swimming pool, spa and fitness centre in the village. The town of Wroxham is only 3 miles away with the famous Roys of Wroxham for shopping. The historic town of Norwich is about 12 miles away, and there are grand houses and gardens to visit at Blickling Hall, Felbrigg Hall and Sheringham Park. The North Norfolk coast is about 30 minutes drive, and offers sandy beaches, seal watching at Blakeney and seafront amusements at Cromer. Also about 30 minutes drive is Pleasurewood Hills theme park near Great Yarmouth

We absolutely loved our weekend at riverbank. Although we have been to Norfolk before it was our first time on the broads and I think we have all fallen in love!
The cottage was lovely and very well equipped. The location is stunning, our children loved being that close to nature and feeding the ducks every day. We have never been interested in boats before but the next time we come back we intend to hire a boat for the day. The village of Horning is also lovely and we are all already talking about the next time we come to stay.

Thank you. We all thought the cottage was superb and very comfortable. It was so nice to actually have a comfortable bed away from home. The view over the River Bure was a lovely picture to wake up to each morning. We have been to Norfolk on a number of occasions and like to stay in different cottages but I must say yours tops them all. My daughter and her boyfriend visited for a day. They did not want to go home. Comfort, view, atmosphere and surroundings were superb.
