House | 4 bedrooms | sleeps 8
If you have small children this family friendly house gives you the best of both worlds. Imagine yourself relaxing here and watching the world and the river go by, but having no worries about the little ones and the water. The balcony and garden are secure. Barton House is a spacious airy modern house set on a basin just off the river Bure. You have all the advantage of a river view without being too close to the busy boat traffic. The house has been furnished and equipped to a very high specification, and is luxurious. It also comes with the use of a 31ft mooring.
Accommodation is over three floors, with the reception rooms on the first floor to use the views to best advantage. Two double bedrooms have king size beds. One twin room has a single bed with another single 'roll under' bed that can be made up as a double. One room with full sized bunk beds. This would be an ideal cottage for an extended family get-together, or for two families seeking to share a holiday, as the bedrooms are on two floors and there are plenty of bathrooms! It would make a great Christmas venue. Cot/high chair/stairgate provided. Barton is five minutes walk to the Ferry Inn and Helska Leisure Centre, which has a cafe and small pool. The rest of the village amenities (two more pubs, restaurants, deli, butcher, and other shops) are 10-15 minute walk away. Horning is an great location to explore the Norfolk Broads by boat. The North Norfolk coast is famous for its wildlife, huge beaches and great pubs and restaurants.
