Carr House is nestled in the stunning landscape of the Peak District National Park with panoramic views of the Vale of Edale, and is a gateway to a myriad of beautiful walks and tracks, some leading back to the Iron Age.
Excellent bird-watching with over 60 species spotted so far, and awesome star-gazing due to very low light pollution in the valley. Guide books available to assist guests with viewing and identification.
Edale is a vibrant and inclusive village community which brings visitors back again and again to enjoy its beauty, peace and friendly atmosphere.

- A non-refundable deposit of £100 will secure your booking, with the balance due four weeks prior to your stay.

By car we are located 25 miles from Manchester and 16 miles from Sheffield in the stunning scenery of the High Peak, and approximately half way between the villages of Hope and Edale.
Type carrhouseholidays into Google maps and this will give you an accurate location and directions to follow.
Alternatively, we can send more detailed written directions by email or post.
There is a regular train service from Manchester and Sheffield which stops at Edale. The station is about 2 miles from Carr House.
We are about 1 hour from Manchester and East Midlands airports and from the M1 and M6 motorways.
