One of three Primrose Farm cottages that visitors can hire, this stone barn has been lovingly converted to offer accommodation for groups of up to four people. For the chilly winter months, Greenfields has been installed with under-floor heating, while a raised deck area provides ample opportunity for al fresco dining in the summer months. It is an end-of-terrace cottage and has been delightfully decorated throughout. There is off-road parking for up to 2 cars, and the local pub is just over a mile away.

Off road parking for 2 cars. Large, lawned garden with decked patio area, garden furniture and BBQ. One well-behaved dog welcome. Stabling facilities available by arrangement direct with owner. Sorry no smoking. Shop 4 miles, pub 1.5 miles. Note: This property may be suitable for accompanied disabled - please phone for further information. Note: The owners of this property farm Koi Carp thus there is a large fenced pond at this property and children must be supervised.

The West Country / Devon region
Devon, with its quiet country lanes and patchwork of lush green fields, sleepy villages is not to be missed. Surf its north coast beaches, explore the rugged charms of Dartmoor’s peaks, cycle the Tarka Trail or explore Rosemoor’s fabulous RHS garden. Stately home lovers will be spoiled with Cotehele, Castle Drogo and St Anthony House nearby, and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
The Honiton / Upottery area
Upottery is a pretty village, situated in the heart of the Blackdown Hills. The surrounding area has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers excellent opportunities for bird watching, riverside walks and spotting wildlife. The village takes its name from the River Otter which runs a stone’s throw from the village and also lends its name to a local beer. Upottery won the ‘Best Kept Village in Devon’ in 2006 and has maintained the standards that won it that title. Thirteen miles away, you can find the fossil beaches of Lyme Regis and Charmouth, part of the West Country’s Jurassic Coast. The town of Honiton is just five miles away, whilst the Cathedral City of Exeter is a 20-minute drive. Exeter has all the amenities you would expect from any city, including a fantastic shopping centre and a broad range of bars and restaurants to choose from. Exeter also shows evidence of its Roman origins, sporting Roman walls throughout.

,Of the three cottages we stayed at in the UK, this was the best. It's location was superb and we would have loved to roll up the view and bring it back to Australia with us. The welcoming card and the pub recommendations were a nice idea and most helpful.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee per week or short break.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
