The entrance to the cottage is through French Doors allowing light to stream into the open plan lounge/dining room. The lounge has attractive stone walls and a beamed and vaulted ceiling and the log burning stove will ensure that you are warm whatever the British weather throws at you. There is a large widescreen colour TV, DVD player, hi fi, books, games and magazines.
There is a downstairs modern bathroom/wc with over the bath shower and glorious views over the surrounding countryside! The short wooden staircase rises to the first floor with a balcony overlooking the lounge.
The double bedroom has a pine bed, beams and a sloping ceiling. There is a small single bedroom with sloping ceiling. Duvets with linen provided (except for the cot). Downstairs is a modern fitted kitchen with beams. Equipped with a Fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, hob, dishwasher and washing machine.
Further details outdoors:
There are chairs by the French doors to sit and enjoy the peaceful garden or sit on the patio and watch the Peacocks! (who will often wait outside the door for food!!).
Take your time to enjoy the delights of the East Devon countryside and maybe even some farm fresh free range chicken and duck eggs available from the owners. Also, ask to come and meet Christina and Britney our two wonderful Kune Kune pigs!
New for 2010 - we have just had central heating installed (July) and the cottage has been completely redecorated (Sept).

Honiton and the East Devon Heritage Coast are within easy reach, as are Sidmouth, Seaton and Exmouth. Golf, historic houses and gardens abound. Exeter close by. Within a short distance of the award winning beaches at Poole. Pub and shops in Honiton 3 miles.
