About the home
The best equipped cottage with new kitchens and bathrooms installed in 2008. NOW with TV (French stations)+ DVD player, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge - freezer, microwave and coffee maker.
The living area has a double sofabed. The well equipped kitchen area has four electric hobs and a full sized oven. Outside are large communal gardens as well as parking. The upstairs is divided in two: double beds either side. The new bathroom has a shower WC and basin. Electric heaters are fixed to the wall in each room. 53-60 square metres.

The Normandy / Calvados region
The Normandy region of France offers a long and varied coastline. This includes the historic World War II landing beaches. Inland is beautiful countryside, busy market towns, and historic landmarks such as the cities of Caen, Bayeux and Rouen. Food and wine lovers will appreciate fine cheeses to cider and Calvados.
nearby are the chic resorts Deauville and Trouville, adjacent towns both well known for their beautiful sandy beaches and much favoured by the rich and famous of France.
The Honfleur / Berville sur Mer area
The beautiful historic port of Honfleur with its picturesque Saturday market is 10 minutes away by car or you can walk along the riverbank which offers spectacular views of the Pont de Normandie. On days out you are well placed to explore the sights of Normandy and Brittany.
You can visit the landing beaches after a visit to the museum at Arromanches. Should you choose to you can explore the many beautiful beaches of the area. Berville sur Mer is part of the Natural Park of Brotonne which includes the Forest of Brotonne. There are many cycle paths, picnic areas, hiking paths on both sides of the River Seine.
