The Normandy / Calvados region
Honfleur, is a good place for having a central point if you want to visit the Normandy. You will go easily to the countryside with the famous cheeses like Camemberg, the cider or Calvados, so easy to drink but so difficult to drive after... Also, the second war sites, Mont St Michel will be easy to get.
Honfleur / Le vieux port area
Honfleur is an old city so with a lot of historic sites to visit. Anyway, our city is not a museum but a real place where it's very pleasant to live: regional markets every Wednesday and Saturday, traditional shops with Normandy products... or having a coffe on the old port!
