Home description
The house has been refurbished to a high standard preserving its Norman touch and comfort. The fireplace gives to the house a cosy atmosphere in the winter, and the feeling of being home. I have chosen everything in the house. I have included some antics and prints or paintings from local artists, and I have always made sure that it was equipped like my own house.
It is a three-storey house: the ground floor comprises a living-dining area and an open-plan kitchen, the first floor comprises one double bedroom and a bathroom, and the second floor has two bedrooms, a double and a single.

The Normandy / Calvados region
Normandy offers both a charming countryside and a fabulous coastline. Norman gastronomy also offers this great mix of seafood and farm products. People are very nice and friendly.
Honfleur area
Honfleur is one of the most charming fishing ports in Normandy and perfectly situated for exploring Normandy, including “les plages du débarquement” (Omaha Beach, Utah Beach…), Etretat, and Mont Saint-Michel.
Trouville and Deauville are 20-minute drive from Honfleur. You will find there a Casino and some wonderful beaches for romantic walks and beautiful sunsets.
Honfleur is a small and colourful town with many cultural activities and festivals all year round such as: Salon des Artistes Comtemporains (22-24/03 2008), Salon Passionnément Jardin (16-27/04 2008), Fête des Marins (11-12/05 2008), Festival Chroniques Nomades (17-01/06 2008), Festival Jazz (13-17/08 2008), Fête de la Crevette (04-05/10 2008), Festival du Cinema Russe (26-30/11 2008). For those who are interested by arts and paintings, there are plenty of arts workshops, galleries and museums. For the visitors who are keen to relax, Honfleur has also plenty of restaurants and shops in the city centre and a cinema.
A must-do in Honfleur is to take your breakfast sitting outside one of the cafes on the Vieux Bassin to enjoy the view and the brightness of the day light.
