Home description
Cronbridge holiday cottages are situated a few moments walk away from the banks of the Seine, where the river widens out to embrace the sea.
Set amongst three and a half acrest of orchards and landscaped gardens, they provide a haven of peace and tranquillity within an area of historic interest, stunning scenery and rolling farmland. All our cottages have two bedrooms one with a double bed and one with two singles, a fully fitted kitchen with either a washing machine or dishwasher, a comfortable lounge area with a sofa bed provided if required and an outside patio with individual barbacue.
The cottages are floored throughout with Maple style plank flooring, sealed and polished. As well as being stylish and sophisticated, these floors are ideal for easy maintenance holiday wear.

The Normandy / Calvados region
You are never far away from good food in France and there are Michelin Star restaurants in the village of Conteville, which is less than ten minutes away and in the town of Beuzeville which is less than twenty minutes.
You can visit the Park naturel regional de Brotonne, half an hour away, or take the winding riverside road to the Abbeys at St Wandrill and Jumieges. The village of Saumone du Roc and its impressive views of the Seine in both directions is a short drive away.
Golfers will be pleased to note that there are five golf courses nearby with St Gatien being only half an hour away, and for the cheese lovers you can always treat yourself to some Pont Leveque from a local shop, or from the town itself which is nearby.
The ancient port town of Honfleur houses some of the finest galleries, antique shops and restaurants supported by people who are friendly and welcoming.
It is the most outstanding preserved port in the area. The vieux basin in the centre of town is still a haven for yachtsmen, ocean going and river cruising alike. Its sea bound entrance is through the swing bridge governed by the Lieutenance, the home of the Kings Lieutenant dating from 1606.
Honfleur / Berville sur Mer area
Only twenty-five minutes from the port of Le Havre and just over an hour from Dieppe is the village of Berville sur Mer. Berville is reputed to have once been part of the estate owned by William the Conquerors mother, opposite the cottages is the Church of St. Melain dating back to the 13th Century.
The village is beautifully kept and villagers young and old offer a warm and friendly welcome. Within five minutes walk there is a Tabac and an excellent Boucherie.
Walking through the forests and countryside along many of the pathways that have been in use for hundreds of years, cycling, fishing on the River Risle, or ambling along the Esplanade to the town of Honfleur for a glass or two of local cider or some of the multitude of wines on offer are favourite pursuits in the area.
The beautiful towns of Deauville and Trouville with their spotlessly clean sandy beaches are only short drive away through unspoilt countryside.
Local towns of Pont Audemer and Beuzeville provide the opportunity to visit typically French markets with their fine section of fresh fruits, vegetables, cheeses, bread and wines as well as the sites and sounds of market day.
A visit to the Monet gardens is always worthwile to see the famous "Lilly Pond" as is the magnificent basilica of St Theresa at Liseaux. The historic and moving sites of the D-Day landings are only a short drive away, as are many other historical places and museums including the Bayeaux Tapistry and the medieval castle in Caen.
We also have the "Tall Ships Armarda" on the Sein in July which will be visible from our cottages or a better view will be two minuetes walk away to the banks of the Seine
