About the home
The cottages are situated a few moments walk away from the banks of the Seine, where the river widens out to embrace the sea and are set in the village of Berville sur Mer which is close to the historic town of Honfleur, considered by many to be the Jewel of Normandy.
Set amongst three and a half acres of orchards and landscaped gardens, they provide a haven of peace and tranquillity within an area of historic interest, stunning scenery and rolling farmland.

The cottages are floored throughout with Maple style plank flooring, sealed and polished. As well as being stylish and sophisticated, these floors are ideal for easy maintenance holiday wear.

It is a nice quiet place, good access to Motorways, Honfleur and the Normandy Coast with friendly and helpful owners. Accommodation is simple but good and comfortable. Could do with WiFi. Also maybe some milk and flowers when we arrive or a cake would be a nice welcome. But it was very good value. |
