The accommodation in the farmhouse consists of 2 double bedrooms , an open plan area at the top of the stairs which has two single beds and a drop side cot, a large kitchen; sitting room and inner hall, a bathroom with bath and WC and a separate bathroom with shower and WC, and a spacious entrance hall.
The farmhouse and "batiments" are set in approximately 30 acres of idyllic countryside with a river, "sources" (streams originating on the land), a delightful duck pond, and a pretty rock pool near the house. There are a large number of fruit trees including apple, pear, cherry, peach, and plum and our own woodlands and meadows with a great variety of wild flowers. The Normandy / Calvados region
"La Ferme Troussebourg's" close proximity to some of Normandy's finest attractions make it a perfect place for visitors, whether their interests are history, art, sports, nature, just walking in the lovely countryside or relaxing in one of the many excellent restaurants within a few minutes drive of the farm (no need for a long drive home late at night!).
Honfleur area
Honfleur, (10 minutes drive), is a picturesque fishing port and artists' colony, where the visitor, exploring its ancient cobbled streets, will find many charming old buildings housing art galleries, antique and craft shops, museums and numerous excellent and inexpensive restaurants (there are reputed to be over a hundred restaurants in Honfieur). On market days the squares, with their open‑air cafes, are a riot of colour and bustle.
The nine mile (14km) coastal drive to sophisticated Deauville is dramatically beautiful and takes only about 20 minutes from Honfleur; its wide sandy beaches, magnificent seafront buildings, casino and superb shops make Deauville one of France's most elegant towns. Trouville, on the other side of the bridge, is more informal whilst offering many fine restaurants, beach activities, casino and open‑air fish market.
Rouen, (a 79km drive), is a busy port and the capital of Upper Normandy ‑ the site of the inquisition of Joan of Arc in 1431; there are many fascinating old buildings and monuments to visit.
How to get there
"La Ferme Troussebourg", is ideally situated close to the superb amenities of Honfleur and Deauville/Trouville, whilst the 17th century farmhouse also enjoys the tranquillity of 30 private acres of outstandingly beautiful countryside. See www.honfleurholidays.com for full details and photographs.

Further details outdoors: Deck chairs, patio tables and chairs, parasol, Bar‑B‑Q and garden games and equipment are also provided. The farm and surrounding countryside are delightful at any time of year, being situated in an area of great natural beauty in Normandy. In Springtime the blossoms on the fruit trees, and the daffodil, tulip and hyacinth bulbs make a lovely sight; with the rivers and streams in full flow after the Winter thaw. The many‑coloured hues of the trees and invigorating walks in the countryside make Autumn a delightful time of the year in Normandy, when the visitor can enjoy peace and quiet after the bustle of Summer. Christmas is a relaxing season with the time to enjoy the traditional log fires, explore the garden and extensive grounds, or to visit nearby Honfleur or Deauville for good food and entertainment.
