The Honfleur / Fiquefleur area
Honfleur is far more than a traditional French port, the characteristic Normandie architecture with it's tall merchant houses and sharply pitched slate roofs makes Honfleur a truly unique place. The cobbled streets meander around the ancient harbour which can be traced back as early as the Viking period. It rightly remains one of France's top 20 tourist destinations. Everything from the centre of Honfleur is accessible by foot. The beach ,the beautiful gardens, open air swimming pool, 10 tennis courts and mini golf are all within a short distance. But the real pull of Honfleur are the fantastic selection of restaurants and art galleries. Honfleur is a true gastronomic paradise.

Cottage very comfortable and warm. We made most of the garden and were able to sit out till 7pm on 4 of the days we were there. We loved the way you have decorated the house and appreciated the blend of old and new. We throughly enjoyed our stay.
April 09 Judith, Essex.
I am just writing to let you know what a fabulous stay we had at Maison de Josephine - I didn't get round to writing in the guest book.
It is such a gorgeous house in a beautiful location, with so much to do and see nearby - we loved Honfleur, Deauville & Trouville; and we really enjoyed the many scenic routes we took through all the country roads; plus numerous other trips out and about.
The house is really comfortable and cosy, with a great garden and wonderful atmosphere. Just enough 'mod cons' without spoiling the character. The kids loved it as much as we did, and are already asking 'When are we going back to our holiday home?'! We look forward to returning again, maybe next year.
Great house, fantastic location, lovely weather!
April 2010 Helen & family
We had a fantastic week at Maison de Josephine, it was in a perfect location, it was comfy', cosy, well equipped, quiet and private. The sun also shone all week and we were able to sit outside in the early evening.
We enjoyed the Normandy sights, none of them too far from the house.
We will be back.
May 2010 Paul (and family)
Many thanks for the use of the house, which was very comfortable, and ideally placed for both Honfleur and the motorway. We would certainly recommend it.
July 2010 Caroline
