The Normandy region

Normandy offers you the opportunity to discover and explore some unusual and striking places.

After crossing the" Pont de Normandie", you can explore the pebble as far as the cliffs of Fécamp and Etretat.

Deauville is proud of its fine sandy beaches, its famous boardwalk( les planches ), its luxury boutiques and its casino.

Trouville boasts a superb fish market that is open every day.

The PAYS d'AUGE is know for its lush countryside, for its famous cheese ( including camembert, pont l'évêque and livarot, much appreciated by the fine palates ), and last but not least for it cider and calvados.

Those with an interest in history will want to visit the Normandy Landing beaches and the Mémorial de Caen museum and war memorial.

The Bayeux tapestry is fascinating, and the historic centre of Rouen, with its many churches, is enchanting.

Honfleur is a fascinating and charming town; you will rapidly fall under its spell and attractions will make you want to linger.

You will most likely be coming back - perhaps to stay for good!

"Amazing house, brilliant location, lovely owners"

The house was wonderful, the kitchen is a real highlight. The owners couldn't be more welcoming, they had stocked the house with breakfast, fruit and coffee and are happy to help in any way they can....even offered to help carry our luggage to the car! . we took our toddler and had no problems. If you plan to put a child in the single bedroom they need to be ok with stairs. There's no specific parking but we always found space within a couple of minutes walk.
