THE CROFT (cottage)

Home description

The Croft is a lovely Traditional cottage set in peaceful countryside bordering Calvados and Eure. It is only a few minutes drive from the famous town of Honfleur and its pretty harbour. Also the costal resorts of Deauville and Trouville are nearby. the Normandy landing Beaches, the Bayeux Tapestry and Paris, the Garden of Claude Monet are all within easy reach.

The Cottage is set in 3,500square meters of private ground and is equipped for up to 4 people. It is a perfect base for walking, cycling, bird watching or just relaxing. In the evening have a sundowner and watch the amazing sunsets.

The Normandy / Calvados region

The region of Calvados/Eure is very green and famous for its Cider and of course Apple Brandy (Calvados)
the Pretty Historical Town of Honfleur is a favourite with Artists and Deauville is one of the most fashionable resorts of the area.and has one of the best Beaches for relaxing and swimming. Markets are also another attraction of French Life in the area. The Garden of Claude Monet is also within easy driving distance.

Honfleur / Beuzeville area

Our nearest small town is Beuzeville, 5 minutes drive from the cottage. it is a very attractive town and has a wonderful selection of Cafes, Restaurants and Shops. Banks can also be found in Beuzeville along with many specialty shops. There are so many pretty villages and towns within striking distance it is hard to name them all. Suffice to say it is well worth a visit.

How to get there

Boulogne is approx,2 hours drive and Calais 2.5hrs drive on Motorway.

Accommodation is all on the one level. A comfortable sitting room with Patio Doors leading out to the Garden and Sun Terrace with Garden Furniture.

Double Bedroom with Double Bed. Bathroom with Shower and Toilet ( no Bath)
There is also a sun Veranda and this also leads out to the Garden and patio. The Garden has fruit trees and Fruits of the season which you can help yourself to during your stay.

Cottage has a private driveway with Double Gates. There is also a Garage and Car Port if required. The Garden has Apple Trees, Peach Trees. Pear Trees and Fruits of the Season. It is Rural and Quiet.

Conditions

A Deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance is due 8 weeks before departure.
A Security deposit of £100.00 is required and returned after the holiday.
We offer a discount for booking additional weeks.

the Croft is available from 4pm onwards for arival and must be vacated by 10am on departure.
