About the home

Tan Y Cytiau Cottage sleeps up to 8 people comfortably in 4 double bedrooms all with beautiful views. The recent refurbishment includes new kitchen, luxury family bathroom and additional toilet all to a high standard leaving a balance of period features, modern and luxurious finishes and antique furnishings across the whole cottage. There are two living areas each with TV and DVD Player. Large Dining area.

Outside the cottage has an access onto a terrace as well as a large mature private garden which is safe and secure for children and ideal for relaxing, dining and BBQ. At the rear of the property there is ample additional space in walled courtyard and off road parking.

Situated on Heritage Coast and in a Special Conservation Area of South Stack the two properties Tan Y Cytiau Cottage and adjacent Tan Y Cytiau House are nearby to the famous South Stack lighthouse, RSPB Reserve and the ancient Stone Circles. The walks surrounding the cottage include walks up and around the Mountain, South Stack, North Stack and down to the sea by Abraham's Bosom. Within 5 minutes drive you are at the popular Porthdafarch and Trearddur Bay beaches with Blue Flag status.

On arrival fresh flowers and home made Bara Brith cake are offered as a treat for all our guests.

Beautiful historic coastline with the mountains of Snowdonia always nearby. Walks and beaches are said to be some of the best in Britain.

The Holyhead / South Stack area

South Stack lighthouse, RSPB Nature Reserve, heritage sites and the Anglesey Coastal Path are on our door step. Within a few minutes drive are beautiful Blue Flag beaches, golf, horse riding, water-sports, restaurants and bars. Further afield is the World Heritage site of Beaumaris, Dublin by fast ferry and Isle of Man or Cardiff from Anglesey Airport. August see the Anglesey County Show take place and October for the annual Anglesey Oyster Festival.

Follow the A55 to Anglesey and keep on the A55 until you arrive at Holyhead - continue to South Stack Light House - LL65 1YH and Tan Y Cytiau Cottage is on the final road to the Light House on the right hand side - Two Stone Gate Post with a slate sign saying Tan Y Cytiau - follow the drive to the property and you will be met on arrival -
