The East Anglia region
Picturesque rolling Fens, unspoilt beaches, and pretty waterways – East Anglia is a dream holiday destination. Norfolk offers beaches, saltmarshes and quaint villages whilst equally as charming are the coast and countryside of Suffolk.
Situated in North Norfolk and offering a local store, a village post office, a good bakery and a superb butcher's shop, the large village of Briston also provides two pubs, a sports field and a sizeable village green. Situated in a central position, the village provides a good base for exploring the surrounding area and is close to both the historic Georgian town of Holt - with its tempting tea-rooms and interesting shops, and Blakeney coastal nature reserve which provides visitors with fantastic birdwatching opportunities. Also available nearby are several 'seal spotting' boat trips which take visitors up and down the coast, or alternatively, there is a wonderful beach at the seaside resort of Sheringham. The local countryside is wonderfully diverse and offers walkers and cyclists the chance to explore the many fascinating trails.

Thank you for your review and we were very sorry to read your comments. As you are aware we spent a considerable amount of time liaising between yourself and the owner of Fred's Cottage and whilst you felt disappointed with certain aspects of the property (which were not raised during your stay), the owner also had cause to complain about the state in which you left their cottage. For clarification the owner has not had any other complaints regarding the showers and 'tops up' spices and herbs for her guests convenience (the sauce had been recently purchased from a local supermarket). With the exception of your review we have received excellent feedback for this delightful property.
