We are situated in the glorious North Devon countryside known for its superb beaches, national parks, and magnificent coastline. Enjoy comfortable timber lodge family accommodation in a peaceful, rural location just a few miles from the coast. Two lodges are set in attractive grounds with an outdoor swimming pool. (pool is summer only) We aim to provide a relaxing and private retreat from everyday pressures. There is a large paddock for children to play in, even football or cricket! We are bounded by fields and our own wild flower meadow. There are no immediate neigbours.
Beautiful beaches such as Sandymouth, Duck Pool, and Widemouth Bay are just a few miles away as is the seaside town of Bude with its great family beaches. If you enjoy walking, then the South West Coastal path, Exmoor and Dartmoor are all within easy reach.
There are many local attractions such as the Tamar Lakes for water sports and fishing, or further afield, RHS gardens, steam railways, museums and beauty spots, all make for great days out. Bradworthy village with its local pub and shops is just 2 miles down the road and the market town of Holsworthy is just 8 miles.
•There are two lodges for let, Jay and Wren. Both lodges will comfortably accommodate and sleep a family of 4.
•Each lodge has two good size bedrooms. The first room has a double bed and the second room has bunk beds. There are also a cot and a 'Z' bed available by prior request. Either of these could be used in the same room as the bunks.

The West Country / Devon region
The West Country - the counties of Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Somerset - enjoys a milder climate than much of England, and consequently Cornwall has long been a popular summer getaway. The area provides the best surfing in England, with towns like Newquay, Bude and Croyde filling with enthusiasts every year. There is excellent walking on Bodmin Moor, domain of the legendary beast, and the coastline is wild and beautiful.
Devon has long been a favourite destination for British holidaymakers, with perfect beaches and great walking. Dartmoor and Exmoor are remote and unspoilt, with ancient remains scattered across the moor land. Devon is also home of the ‘British Riviera’ – Torquay, Paignton and Brixham offer traditional seaside breaks complete with tearooms, arcades and the local speciality of clotted cream and scones.
Holsworthy / Bradworthy area
Located in the west of Devon, Bradworthy is a picturesque village that is full of old world charm and surrounded by magnificent scenery. The square, the central hub of the village is over 1,000 years old and features landmarks such as a pumphouse and war memorial. In the summer months there is a small market which is held on Saturday mornings and in mid July the Square plays host to Carnival week. Just outside Broadworthy are Torridge and Lower Tamar lake which are perfect destinations for walking on a late summers evening.

Further details indoors: •The kitchen-dinner contains a cooker, fridge, microwave and washer. Pine table and seating for four.
•The living area has two double sofas. Both lodges have a 21" TV with digital Freeview channels and a combined DVD and VCR player which can also play audio CDs
•Bathrooms have a shower, bath, wash basin and toilet. Jay lodge has a 'hip bath'.
•Bed linen and tea towels are supplied but please bring your own towels.
•Hot water is supplied by electric immersion heater. Electric heating is installed for use in the chillier seasons.
•Electricity is metered and charged for at the end of your stay.
•There is a strictly No Smoking policy in the lodges but feel free outdoors.
•The doors are wide enough for a wheelchair.
Further details outdoors: We have a large grassed paddock area which is ideal for ball games such as cricket and football. There is also a swing set in this area.
There are barbecues that you can use.
