The lodges sympathetically sit within the beautiful rural countryside, embraced by old Devonshire hedgerows, leaving you captivated. Spending your valuable quality time in quality accommodation, with your family and friends. 1 mile from the old market town of Holsworthy, which offers a variety of pubs, shops and restaurants, leisure complex with swimming pool and fitness facilities. A weekly cattle market and pannier market. Holsworthy is linked to the Ruby Trail and very close by the Tarka Trail, where no traffic is allowed and you can safely walk, cycle or ride. If you are a golfer Holsworthy has it's own 18-hole course and there is also a links course a 15 minute drive, at the coastal town of Bude. This fantastic location allows guests to explore the treasures of both Devon and Cornwall. Spectacular towering cliffs, rugged coastlines, beaches that invite you to explore, or 'ride the waves' in the great surf around these coastlines. There are many attractions in the area, including The Milky Way, The Big Sheep, The Gnome Reserve, RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Tamar Otter Park and the old fishing villages of Clovelly, Hartland Quay, Tintagel or Boscastle, Dartmoor and Exmoor with their majestic Tors are all within a short and scenic drive.
Leisure facilities: the lodges are situated overlooking the owner's public coarse fishing lakes which are well stocked with carp, roach and rudd and free to fish for residents staying at the lodges. Please note that correct fishing equipment is required for safety and the well-being of the fish. Room to roam with nature walks around the lakes with an abundance of wildlife, flora and fauna. Play facilities: children's "Pleasure Paddock" with life-size play boat, swing and see-saw. Games room: with coin operated pool table, table football and darts board. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen, towels and electric included. Central heating included 1 October - 30 April otherwise £30 per week payable to the owner. Regret no pets or smoking. Location: beach 11 miles, shops and pubs 1 mile.
The lodge offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double with en-suite bath, shower and WC and 1 twin with en-suite shower room with WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: with woodburner effect electric fire, TV with Freeview, DVD, hi-fi, dining area and kitchen area offering ceramic hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave. Outside: patio doors open onto a large decked terrace with garden furniture, gas BBQ and views overlooking one of the lakes and countryside.
