Oak Cottage, within Carpenters Tinney Cottages, is set within a flowered courtyard with acres of valley fields where our small number of farm animals graze around the river Tamar meadows, the border between Devon and Cornwall.
In Carpenters Tinney Cottages there are three cottages, sleeping 2, 4 and Oak Cottage with 6. Please contact the owner regarding the other properties.
Whether it be a family or couples holiday, "Carpenters" has an "away from it all" feel, with bird and wildlife in abundance, the many private footpaths around the land and the quiet flow of the River Tamar where 400 yards of trout fishing can be tried, or just have fun in the shallow waters.
With the coastal path, Bude & Widemouth Bay only 8 miles away and many attractions nearby, "Carpenters" is ideally located for walking, beach activities & touring.

How to get there
From Exeter bear south onto the A377 and take the 3rd exit at the roundabout onto the A30. Following the A30 for about 30 miles and exit where signposted A395. At roundabout take 3rd exit onto A395.
There is an element of doubling back on yourself due to the way the roads are structured. At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit back onto the A30 ramp travel about 3 miles and take the exit bearing left onto Tavistock Rd ramp then turn left at Tavistock Rd.
Bear left at Kensey Place and turn right at Dockacre Rd and right again at St Thomas Rd. Continue through Newport Square and St Stephen's Hill and then on the B3254 for 9 miles. Turn right following signs for Pyworthy and Holsworthy and follow the road for a further 3 miles before arriving in Pyworthy
