The St James Parish region
On the west coast there are a number fine restaurants and night life in the Holetown area.This area is of historical interest as this is where the first English Settlers landed in Barbados.
There are Sports Bars that are open 7 nights a weekl and close after midnight.
Chesters Place is located 15 minutes by car or public Transport.
The Holetown area
Visitors can enjoy the Crop Over festival which runs from June to August each year.This culminates with the Street Carnival parade on the First Monday in August.
There is the Holetown Festival which celebrates the landing of the first English Settlers to Barbados. There is the Cricket Tour of the West Indies by England February 26- March 10 2009. One test match and 2 ODIs will be played in Barbados.
