About the home
This privately owned spacious one bedroom apartment is recommended for a romantic getaway and sightseeing. It's near the ocean and close to the village. Set in 5 acres of beautiful tropical gardens and there is a 25m swimming pool with sun loungers, umbrellas and a poolside bar and restaurant.
The accommodation is spacious (approx 750 sq.ft.), comfortably furnished and comprises a lounge with dining area and separate fully equipped kitchen. Personally furnished for comfort. It has air conditioning, but we have found the position on the top floor and the clever design of the building means that at night a flow of cool air is available without mechanical assistance.
Breakfasts on the balcony are a wonderful start to the day and watching the sun go down over the sea is a memorable event.
The swimming pool is ideal, the convenience of a small bar/restaurant alongside is a bonus. Shops are within a few minutes walk and access to fine stretches of beach will add just two more minutes.

Private sun terrace with two day beds for serious sunbathing or relax and read that book.

Barbados is the most popular of the Caribbean Islands, and enjoys a year round climate, with daytime temperatures of 27°C to 31°C. Night temperatures hardly vary, with the lowest winter temperatures of 23°C to 25°C.

Our West Coast waters are clean, clear and warm - ideal for swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, and wind surfing. Or you may just prefer to relax on the beach, enjoying the sun, sand and sights!
The Holetown area
Situated in the unique and prestigious Parish of St James on the South West Coast of Barbados,
the local area boasts fabulous beaches washed by the Caribbean Sea and frequented by the rich and famous (there are no private beaches on Barbados), yet these are only five minutes walk from our apartment.
The apartment is situated ten minutes away from Sandy lane golf course, and there are several prestigious hotels along this golden west coast, such as Sandy Lane, Treasure Beach, Tamarind Cove, Discovery Bay, Sandpiper, Colony Club and Coral Reef Club, all of which offer nightly entertainment and welcome visitors for either drinks, a restaurant meal or BBQ accompanied by a flaming limbo floorshow.
Within easy walking distance are 20 restaurants catering to every taste, from fast food to fine dining. Two shopping malls are also located nearby, with convenient banks, a supermarket, post office, pharmacy, department stores, and specialty shops. In addition, there are two Malls and a quaint fully operational Chattel House village retailing local fashion, paintings and artefacts. Public transport is regularly available approx 400yds from the apartments.

We enjoyed our
stay immensely, the apartment was very nice and clean and great value for money.
The location of the property was excellent. It is a quiet location but is close to the fabulous West Close beaches
and a 5 minute walk from a dozen restaurants in Holetown. We will stay here again.

The apartment is superb.Beautifully furnished and so comfortable. Two settees on the private terrace were ideal for serious sunbathing and reading. The bedroom has large fitted wardrobes and a fabulous walk in shower room. The kitchen has every appliance you need but we ate out at a lot at the many restaurants.
Doris' detailed notes were a great help in finding places. We enjoyed our walks around the estate and fed the many monkeys we came across. The large pool and tropical gardens had plenty of sunloungers and you could always find your place in the shade. Holetown is definitely the most convenient place. We walked on the fabulous beaches for miles then had a Barbados rum punch before catching the bus back. Fabulous. We'll be back.

Excellent location, easy walking distance for restaurants,shops,and fantastic beaches. Easy to hire a car for getting about. Doris was very helpful with a file of information in the apartment. The staff and security on the desk were very accommodating and friendly. Would stay here again.

Beautifully presented apartment. Well equipped and very clean with good maid service and comfortable beds in light and airy bedroom. Large balcony,wonderful sunsets and perfect for breakfast/lunch.Excellent location for sightseeing and convenient for beaches and shopping.The owner has provided a very useful brochure giving all the information you need and more. We had a lovely stay here and can recommend without reservation.

We had a lovely time.in Barbados.The apartment had everything we needed and was well equipped and extremely well located. The pool area is delightful and it was great to get up in the morning and have a swim before the day got too hot.We made good use of the local supermarket which was a five minute walk away as well as the
adjacent public transport from which we explored the whole of the island's West Coast from the very northern tip down to Oistins on the South Coast.
