A beautiful apartment in the prestigious area of Plymouth known as the Hoe. It has unrivalled breathtaking views of the Hoe and Plymouth Sound. There is a fully fitted kitchen and 2 bathrooms. There is an elevator in the building for your comfort. This property has just become available as a holiday home. Its a great opportunity for you to experience life in Plymouth and be on the Hoe and close to the town centre which is only a short 10 minute walk away. There is also the added bonus of having a parking space right outside the building which is allocated to the apartment. Sleeps 4 people comfortably, there is an additional single size guest bed that would suit a child. Strictly no pets allowed and no smoking. Bed linen and towels provided.

The Devon region

Plymouth is an historical naval port and is the gateway to Cornwall and Dartmouth. You will be spoilt for choice of things to do and events to watch all year around ( http://www.visitplymouth.co.uk/whats-on) You can also catch a ferry to France from Plymouth. There is a big shopping centre called Drakes Circus with all the major retailers. Plymouth has an abundance of bars restaurants to satisfy any appetite.(http://www.visitplymouth.co.uk/eating-out). The apartment is in building No 5, building No 3 use to be owned by Lady Astor, she was Britains first female Member of Parliament. Hoe

The Hoe is the venue for the National Fireworks Championship every year and this can be viewed from the apartment. It is also very close to the Barbican where you can see the commemorative stone that signifies the significant sailing of the Mayflower to America.

The Mayflower left Plymouth, England on September 6, 1620, The crew sighted land off Cape Cod on November 9, 1620 and first landfall was made November 11, 1620. The voyage from Plymouth, England to Plymouth Harbour is about 2,750 miles, and took the Mayflower 66 days.The Mayflower left England with 102 passengers, including three pregnant women, and a crew of unknown number.
