Three Hut Point
House | 4 bedrooms | sleeps 8
This superb 4 bedroom holiday house is set on 1 acre of park like property which steps onto the foreshore of the beautiful D'Entrecasteaux channel. It has magnificent views of the sheltered bay the property dwells upon and is just a 45 minute drive south of Hobart.

The Tasmania region
Gordon is generally a quiet place 55 km south of Hobart in the D'Entrecasteaux Channel.
It is a popular fishing and scuba diving spot for local fisher persons.
Nearby and also on the Huon Trail there is The Bruny Island ferry, a number of Wineries, Grandview Cheesery, Fleurty's Cafe, Peppermint Bay Restaurant and Tru Blu Blueberry Farm , all within half hours drive. The quiet roads are also great to cycle around.
Southern Tasmania has something for eveyone. There is the famous Salamanca Markets, Mona Art Gallery, Mount wellington lookout, History Museums all around Hobart. Further afield there is Port Aurther convict ruins, Hastings Cave, Tahune Airwalk, The Wooden Boat Centre, numerous wineries and a number of rivers from which to try flyfishing from. All within day trips of Three Hut Point.

"Will be recommending to Friends and Family - Lovely!!"
We felt very privileged to be able to stay in such a lovely well-kept family home.
The location is beautiful and the trip around the coast below is a unique and rewarding experience. As was the evening and morning views from the very spacious decking area overlooking the D'Entrecasteaux Channel and Bruny Island.
We really appreciated looking out at the night sky as the milky way looked absolutely amazing. Would definately stay there again If we had the chance. Great Hosts too!!
We would like to thank you and your family for choosing to stay with us at Three Hut Point. We are very lucky to live in a very beautiful part of the world and would be more than happy to share it with you again in the future.

"Idyllic waterfront setting is the perfect venue for your break, for playing, fishing or just relaxing."
Three Hut Point is the perfect destination for your next holiday in Tasmania. Situated just 55 minutes south of Hobart. Very well equipped to cater for a couple or group of eight. The accommodation is clean, with fully equipped kitchen, laundry and BBQ facilities, Home cooked meals are available if wanted. There's plenty to see and do with swans, pelicans and dolphins often in the channel. We visited such places as Grandvewe Sheep Cheesery, local wineries, a blueberry farm; and enjoyed the beautiful scenic drive from Gordon through the Huon Valley and back to Hobart.; There are many interesting stops en route. We would encourage anyone thinking of staying at Three Hut Point to book - appears to be a popular spot.
A big thank you to mine hosts Vicki, Les, Marcus & Sharon.
It was a pleasure having you stay with us and we hope to see you again soon. Kind Regards Les, Vicki, Sharon and Marcus

"Perfect relaxed getaway"
We stayed for 2 weeks with four generations at three Hut Point.
The accommodation is great with 3 living areas, a kitchen with all mod cons, a patio, 2 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. There was a niche for all of us.
The water views from the living areas, the kitchen and patio are spectacular. The property itself is right on the waterfront.
Our hosts Les and Vicki were very thoughtful and available for any needs or questions we had. As locals, they are a wealth of knowledge.
We can't wait to return to this beautiful place, to recharge the batteries, enjoy the water and the lovely open spaces..
Thanks, we can not wait to have you and your family stay with us again in the near future
