Short stroll along the beach front are some nice restaurants and cafe's. They suit all budgets. Including pizza takeaways. So if you do not feel like cooking at home not a problem.

Their is an outside shower to wash yourself from coming from the beach. Hot water is not a problem as it has a very large HWC.

You can keep yourself cool with the AC or versely you can keep yourself warm by the wood heater in front of the cosy flames.

"run down"

Stayed in this location with my family for a long holiday and wedding. when we arrived the house was dirty throughout the property. the advertisement claims that there was wheelchair access where it d… More

One of 3 people all reporting one's after a stay for the same time period. They appeared after a demand for monies. I had no contact detail for them as they did not book through this site. I have the apartment booked in another individual's name for this time
I do not believe that much of what they say is true. The mother states "not wheelchair friendly" yet in her review she does say that her daughter gets around the house alright.
He states that it was not clean. The property was inspected by a member of their family before arriving. HE made no mention of "ants" dirt, or the toilet seat nor that the property was "run down". As you can see these people like to complain. He did not find fault to.

I have not had a complaint about cleanliness in the 2 years that it has been running. It is cleaned by a professional company. I have faith in them so much that I did not report this complaint to them. It just is not true.

Also the father stated that they had an after party which was attended by a hundred people as well as 2 MP's! I am sure that after being their for 3 weeks and having parties that the place might not have been so clean. It still does not mean that it was not clean when they arrived. If they wanted an interim cleaning after a week I could have organized it.

The hole in the floor has been repaired as the bath refitted. The jaccuzi is very large and when full it contained 1000KG or the weight of a car in it. I am sure that if your parked a car on most baths they might move slightly. You would also have to be crazy to fill it that much unless you wanted to drown. AS it is I had the bath removed and refitted. It was initially fitted as specified. It was self supporting however obviously the top flexed (slightly not as they comment) and the seal would break over a years use. It has been refitted now

It is hard to see how the bathroom is run down. Everything in it is new. All products are Kohler, including the taps and toilet.

I really believe that revenge is not a good thing. These reports impact on the cleaner a woman newly married with a new born, also the girl that does the bookings.

Again at least 20 people have stayed with wheel chairs. Their have been no complaints. I do describe the property as wheelchair friendly. Everything you require is on the same level. Even the oaths to the house have no steps. Their I only a small step into the hose as they state. Again the mother herself states that her daughter got around the house alright.

They forget to point out that one of their entourage is extremely big and requires assisted mobility. It was not the person in the wheelchair. It is not hard to imagine what happened to the toilet seat. Ultimately is was just a simple fix to reinstate it. It had popped a fitting as someone had been slid across it. It took a minute to repair.

I take all complaints seriously. I will however not be changing my cleaner.

"Not as advertised on the various web sites used by the owner!!!"

As above, not as advertised. The contact number given was not connected with the property, and the person who answered made it plain that they wanted nothing to do with the owner. When the owner did… More

As the person clearly states I should not have a contact number for him. I do have a contact number for him as he made it available to me to contact him so that he could demand money from me which I refused to give to him.. As anyone is aware to book a property you need to give contact details. The reason that I had no contact details for this individual as he states is because he never booked to stay at the property with me. I am not obliged to give any level of service to an individual to which I have no contractual obligation to. I also shall never provide any level of service to this individual.

Their have been 4 reviews left by this family in response to me not paying them anything. According to Tripadvisor if a guest allows a guest in and they have been at the property the may post a review. This is against any contractual logic and I am working with Tripadvisor to solve this problem.

I have allowed this review to stay and not pulled the add so that other people may know what traps that they can get into in reference to Tripadvisor. This person has tried to extort money from me and failed. As in relation to the property I had 2 cancellations so far. These have been replaced with over 10 enquiries from repeat customers and refilled. You will find that it is one of the most popular places to stay in Hobart and my calendar will verify that. Their is a reason it is popular.

Well done in your attempt. Sorry that you will not succeed. If the police require my details just reply to this add :) or contact me on the Holidays lettings site which has my number :)
