The property is on two levels including two endearing but spacious dormer bedrooms. Comfort abounds with cozy heritage beds, floor/electric heating, your choice of two lounge rooms, and a fully equipped kitchen at your service for you to prepare meals. You will be just metres away from one of Hobart’s best corner stores (Hill Street Grocer) including their scrumptious ready-made meals prepared in their own kitchen.

Not far afield is a wide selection of restaurants, cafes, shops(5-10minutes walk), galleries and parks as well as many of Hobart’s central attractions including Salamanca Place. Crescentfield Cottage also offers a fully equipped laundry, plasma screen, DVD/HD &CD, stereo (with iPod connection) in the setting of an exquisite cottage garden.

The beautiful cottage garden is a delight after a busy day sightseeing. It has a large private child safe (securely fenced/gates) backyard ideal for BBQs and even a cubby house for the children to play. “A Litte Taste of Heaven” The beautifully furnished rooms are overflowing with freshly cut flowers from the garden - the place is immaculate and Sharyn has thought of everything for the comfort of her guests. We were delighted with the garden, expected to see fairies hiding somewhere -so many toys for our 7 year old to amuse herself, and coming from the tropics I really appreciated the nice warm tiles underfoot. The 'treats' we found welcoming us in the fridge were delicious and I thoroughly recommend Cresentfield to even the most discerning traveller.

“A stay in Crescentfield Cottage is an indulgent experience” Of course, there is the beautiful house, superb garden or the convenient location, but the efforts of the owner are most memorable! A stay in Crescentfield Cottage is an indulgent experience, and the owners made each of us – from our 4 month old to his grandparents from overseas who joined us - feel very welcome. From the booking of the cottage to ensuring that some forgotten items make their way back to us after our stay, it is a true pleasure to deal with the Cresentfield family. I can only highly recommend a stay in this delightful place!

“You will love it!” If you are travelling to Hobart, then you simply must stay here! It is that simple. We cannot speak highly enough of Crescentfield Cottage. Our family of 5, with 3 young children, stayed for a week, and we could not have been more impressed. The presentation of the property was immaculate. The house is spacious and comfortable. The yard is quintessential English cottage and even has a cubby house for the kids which they loved. The owners have a very keen eye for detail and every one of our family was especially catered for in some way on arrival. You will not be disappointed, and don't even get me started on the food that is available within walking distance...... Yum!

“Experience historical Hobart in this prestigious period cottage” On entering you will be amazed at the care and love that has gone into restoring this beautiful cottage. Not only are all the furnishings and fittings of the highest standard, but you are greeted by a gift of fresh fruit and condiments (and of course chocolates on your pillow) to get you on your way. If you are taken back by the inside of the cottage, step outside to an amazing wonderland of serenity in the beautiful surrounds of the backyard. Complete with outdoor furniture, it is the ideal location for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a cuppa. Walking distance to the centre of Hobart, but if you don't feel up to tackling the hills, then a walk to the corner shop will cater to your every need. I can guarantee on leaving, you will be thinking of when you can return.

“Exquisite cottage and gardens, great location” Crescentfield Cottage was a fantastic place to stay for our girls long weekend, the cottage is exquisite with all the extra touches, including chocolate fudge, wine and cheese plate on arrival. The location is great, with the famous Hill Street Deli across the road with many tasty morsels to try. Also 5 mins from Hobart CCB and the Salamanca markets. Wonderful weekend and wonderful locations. This is our 2nd visit to Crescentfield Cottage and it won't be our last. Thanks Kathy

“The best holiday house we have ever stayed in!!” From the moment we walked into this beautiful house we all thought Christmas had come early!! The house is beautiful and the garden was wonderful with even a cubby house for the children. Sharyn went to so much trouble to make sure the children's room was perfect down to the doona covers and toys. There were so many things for the children to do it gave my husband and I a chance to relax which was great. The adults were well taken care of too! The wine and cheese in the fridge was an unexpected but lovely surprise as was the his and hers magazines in the living room. I loved the underfloor heating as it was still a bit cool and this made the house very cosy. The West Hobart area was great to stay in. Lovely and quiet but just a short walk to a great little specialty supermarket and butcher and a short drive to some lovely restaurants and the city. We visit Tasmania regularly and will definately stay in this gorgeous house again when we are in Hobart.

“If this was my house I would never leave!!” When in Hobart we have always stayed in the CBD but now we don't have to! Crescentfield Cottage is by far, one of the nicest home stays we have ever had. The photos do not do it justice and it is way more than a "cottage". The "treats" were a perfect welcome and the fact that there were also "treats" for our 5yo was most thoughtful. Plenty of games, toys and books for our little chap and some really interesting reads for us adults. Sharyn's attention to detail and exquisite taste are evident throughout every room and the garden is a gardeners dream. The house was toasty warm despite snow on the mountain. Although it is not in the CBD, there is a plethora of goodies available locally at the amazing butchers and the Hill St market...great shopping for foodies. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it. In fact, it will be perfect for when we have visitors as it could easily accommodate a couple of families. “What an amazing cottage!” This is one of the nicest holiday accommodations I've ever stayed in, and well worth the money. It is homey and comfortable, with plenty of space. We were there for three nights (a group of five friends) and had a great time. The kitchen was very well equipped and great for cooking for groups. Showers were amazing, too!

“Gorgeous house, lovely garden, great location - we loved our stay at Crescentfield Cottage” We recently stayed at Crescentfield Cottage for a long weekend. Given we were a group of 5 adult friends, I was surprised as to how well this house accommodated us. There was ample space for all of us in this gorgeous cottage, and the central location made it a great base from which to explore Hobart and its surrounds. The hosts were brilliant - Sharyn ensured we were informed and comfortable throughout our stay, and she was happy to field any questions we had about the cottage or the area generally. If you are after a comfortable, generously sized house in a convenient Hobart location, then I strongly recommend you consider Crescentfield Cottage.
