Sleeps 1 or 2 couples in a separate bedroom and sitting room with high quality convertible sofa bed. The dining room comfortably sits 6 people. Sitting Room - "daily use" convertible sofa double bed; armchair, occasional chair, linen press with shelf space and drawers for guest's use; various side tables, lamps, occasional tables, canterbury, cable television and DVD player; built in- hi fi speakers and control. Marble fireplace and pier glass mirror. Small "town" balcony and french doors looking onto street.
Bedroom - hotel quality queen size bed, double wardrobe with 2 sets of built in shelves and drawers for guests' use, Secretaire/bookcase which converts to desk; side lighting and reading light; Small "town" balcony and french doors looking onto street. At rear, French doors and larger balcony looking onto central courtyard.
Bathroom/Laundry - Duravit bathroom suite, walk in shower with overhead and side shower fittings; laundry cupboard containing Bosch washing machine and separate tumble dryer.
The apartment is fully airconditioned with a reverse cycle system for cooling in summer and heating in winter.
The apartment is suitable for up to 2 couples but is not suitable for children under 15. A welcome pack containing full details of all the amenities available in the centre of Montpellier is available on arrival. Car parking is easily arranged for your stay in one of the various underground carparks available in the centre of Montpellier. All supplies are available in the adjacent marketplace or within a few minutes walk to individual food shops or the supermarket. Indoor and outdoor cafes, bars and restaurants are in all the surrounding streets and squares.

Historic Pedestrian Center
The apartment is located a couple of minutes walk from 2 operatic and performing arts venues, the renowned Musee Fabre and several local museums and a series of squares with numerous bars, cafes and restaurants offering indoor and outdoor dining and an extensive range of boutique shops. Activities include visiting the many hotel particuliers and various historic buildings and monuments in the centre including the oldest botanic gardens in Europe and the university faculties; visiting local vineyards, beachtrips and watersports, hiking and canoeing in the gorges in the hinterland and visiting the many attractive vilages in the area.

The apartment is exceptional in every way. The location is superb. Located in the centre of old Montpellier, restaurants, bars & a market are right on your doorstep. The apartment has been renovated to the highest standard whilst retaining all of its character. Gorgeous antique furnishings, a modern kitchen, bathroom & laundry amenities, excellent air conditioning which was very much appreciated, fast reliable wifi. We loved the hifi stereo in the dining & lounge room. All amenities were as described & working perfectly. Alistair the owner was a breeze to communicate with, professional & prompt in every instance. To gain access Alistair couriers the keys & emails arrival instructions making your arrival stress free. On several occasions during our stay we emailed to ask Alistair questions regarding the apartments antiques & we appreciated his passionate responses. We plan to return to Montpellier & to once again stay at this apartment. Very highly recommended!!!

"We LOVE this place!"
Montpellier was a wonderful discovery for us, an interesting and friendly city. And if you want to feel really French during your sojourn there, then this apartment is the place to stay! It's a wonderful blend of 16th century architecture, beautifully restored and combined with truly tasteful and comfortable modern convenience (fabulous kitchen and bathroom renovation!) I know - that sounds like an oxymoron, but it all works together magnificently to give the best of both worlds. There are several language schools nearby. I loved IEF, and it's only a few minutes walk from this apartment. We also loved the covered market just across from the apartment, and we had many a beer or a coffee on the terraces of several cafés just adjacent. We've stayed here a few times now - and we"ll be back!

"Beautiful apartment in the heart of old Montpellier"
The location of the apartment was superb with close proximity to the market , cafés and restaurants. The apartment was beautifully restored with up to date facilities and very well equipped . Alistair , the owner was most helpful from our first communication and we appreciated all the local information that was left for us . We tried most of his suggestions . Fantastic !

We had a fabulous time in Montpellier, a truly magical place. The apartment was ideally located within a short walk of restaurants and the main shopping area. Across the road from the back entrance to the apartment was a wonderful market selling fresh fish, vegetables, fruit and cheese. The apartment had a well equipped kitchen,the furniture was of a high standard and the shower was excellent. We will definitely return to Montpellier and stay at this apartment.

"Exquisite apartment in the heart of old Montpellier"
We stayed here for 5 days in May, with our 2 college age daughters. It was a short walk from the train station. Perfectly located. The apartment was beautifully restored, and updated with modern conveniences. The kitchen and dining space were wonderful, and with a market across the street we spent more time eating in than planned. The owner Alistair was very responsive and helpful with great local suggestions. Definitely would return.

"Elegant Apartment in the Heart of the City"
We thoroughly enjoyed this beautifully appointed apartment in the heart of Montpellier. It offers old world charm with all the modern conveniences We loved the balconies overlooking Montpellier's joie de vie below. The location is ideal, everything is within walking distance. Right at your doorstep is one if Montpellier's lovely squares with cafes and street musicians. Across the street is an amazing covered market with fresh flowers, fruit, vegetables and a multitude of gastronomic delights. Travelers with the most discerning taste will truly enjoy this lovely apartment. We hope to return one day.

"A beautiful apartment in the heart of Ecusson in Montpellier"
We had a very nice stay for a week in this beautifully decorated and furnished apartment in Montpellier. The apartment is well located for all the amenities such as restaurants and bars in the nearby streets. The decoration and furnishings have been done to a very high standard and the flat is very comfortable..especially the bed. The bathroom and kitchen are of high spec also. It was a great introduction to Montpellier, being able to experience the life style of the city and having the comfort of this apartment to return to each evening.
