About the home

You have your own private swimming pool. The villa is air-conditioned in the living room and the main bedroom. Also the main bedroom is en-suite.
180 Degrees mountain views. (also in a quiet area). It is self catering. On flat ground so walking is suitable for all ages.
The villa is on mains water which now allows people to drink water safely from the taps.

Large terrace for evening dining and relaxing with views of the moutains or sitting in the shade with a cool breeze (no one over looking you). Swimming pool has lights for evening swimming.

Sun is on the pool area all day with shaded areas, parasols, sunbeds and side tables provided. Walled garden for your own privarcy. Private area with externally built BBQ.

Conditions

Under no circumstances are pets allowed. All breakages must be paid for or replaced. No smoking inside the villa.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Temperature ranges from 20c+ in May to 45c+ in July and August (with a nice cooling breeze)
as you are a 1,000 feet above sea level.
Theres also a fantastic variety of places to visit including trips to Saklinkent Gorge river walk, mud baths at Dalyan, Turtle Beach, Pamukkale, ancient city of Ephesus, Tlos, butterfly valley, Xanthos and Patara. All of these trips can be booked locally in Hisaronu. Other local activities include, Paragliding, turkish Bath, ghost village of Kaya Koy, Jeep Safari, scuba diving, water rafting, jet skiing, boat trips, and Turkish Nights. Fethiye with its harbour and old town, with it's huge market which is held every Tuesday, a shoppers paradise and not to be missed.

The Hisaronu / Ovacik area

Villa Martine is on the outskirts of Hisaronu (15 minute stroll to the centre of Hisaronu) where you can be offered everything from Turkish cuisine to egg and chips. Theres also indian, Italian. Chinese and English restaurants available which offers delicious tasty meals. Then visit one of the many craft shops, cafes or clubs/pubs available. You can buy anything from hand crafted garments and tablewares, designer furnishings, pictures and an aladdins cave of fake desidner clothing and bags. Ranging from leather to silk, cotton and denim copied from designers such as Gucci, Prada, DkNY etc etc.
Also you can't stay at Villa Martine without visiting Oludeniz's famous Blue Lagoon. It offers shallow still crystal clear waters which is lined with pine trees and mountains. The beach is lined with bars, clubs shops and restaurants. For convenience a new local Azda and Gima has opened in Hisaronu a 15 min walk from the villa. A new Aqua park on main Fethiye road 15 min walk from villa.
Recommended restaurants in Hisaronu Daphne's Bistro, Honeymoon, Dippy Dolly's and the Native Hotel.

You can fly from a number of UK airports to Dalaman, Gatwick, Heathrow, Birmingham, East Midlands, to name a few. The villa is a 40 minute drive from Dalaman airport.

All transfers are arranged and paid for by the owner of the villa.(all transport is private and air-conditioned)

“Absolutely Fabulous” We are so pleased that we booked Villa Martine, booking was easy and the owners are lovely. A reliable transfer from the airport in a private air conditioned people carrier was welcoming as we arrived at night and it was dark, but we felt safe and secure. The villa is beautifully decorated, homely and the kitchen was so well equipped with everything you would need. Every room was clean and light and the air-con lounge was a nice cool room. The location is perfect if you want a quiet place but within walking distance of amenties. The shrubs and banana trees in the surounding garden area give privacy to the pool area. The large terrace area is perfect for morning breakfast and coffee looking out onto stunning views of the mountains. We had two delicious meals using the brick built BBQ, very nice. Hisaronu is a 10 minute fairly flat walk to the restaurants, several of which we ate in were fantastic. There are all sorts of different foods, we choose traditional turkish options and enjoyed every meal. There is a Azda 5 minutes up the road and also a SOK and Mygross, so shopping is easy and you can pop out and quickly grab anything and go back to the villa with ease. Local amenties are plentiful, Aqua park 10 minutes away, a regular 5 minute bus service (Dolmush) to and from the other local towns. There is so much to see and lots of trips, we did not have long enough to explore so have rebooked Villa Martine for next year. The owners care about their renters and want to please. We all loved this villa and its location. Married couple with two children age 14 and 11.
