About the home

This luxury ground floor 2 bed apartment at Orka village is in a excellent location with great facilities, this property comes with all modern amenities. The kitchen comes well equipped for cooking a perfect meal. The bathroom consists of a large shower cubicle.There is a large lounge where you can relax after a hard day round the pool the dining area can seat 6 in style and comfort .Both the bedrooms are large with big comfy beds, two single beds and one double bed.and plenty of storage space, there is air conditioning units in both bedrooms and in the lounge. recently fitted mosquito blinds in both the bedrooms so your french doors can be left open for that breeze. You will have full access to the large pool (children's pool as well) with plenty of sunbeds you will also find poolside pagodas and a large sun deck, where you can enjoy a drink or snack from the bar the complex has secure parking and 24 hour security.

There is a fully fitted kitchen, there are French doors leading to julet balconys in the doubled bedded room and the lounge, over looking the gardens and pool. 4* rated by first choice. for that extra person a zbed can be provided at a small fee please ask for details

The apartment is set in beautiful gardens maintained daily by the local caretaker, a Turkish bath is also situated on the complex. The apartment is only a 5 minute walk to the centre of Hisaronu where there are plenty of shops and bars for a great night out. Those staying in this property will also have the use of the facilities at the club orka hotel in Ovacik. Club Orka have also just added to their facilities the use of a private beach on the lagoon at Olu Deniz, guest are able to receive complimentary transport to these The complex does offer wifi but its only small you can pick it up round the bar or reception it doesnt quite reach to the aparments

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

This turquoise coast is on the south west of turkey and is an area of outstanding beauty .The beach at Olu Deniz is one of the most photographed in turkey and the lagoon is a conservation area. Set beneath the Babadag mountains. you can have a go at paragliding jumping from 6000, feet up and landing on the beach. Where you can enjoy a drink or snack in the beach front restaurants The beach is only a short bus ride away which run quite regular or jump in a taxi.

Fethiye is a town set at the foot of the pine-clad mount mendos and curving around a deep blue, island-scattered bay it's about a 15 minute bus ride away (dolmus) the town has a harbour where you can enjoy a fish meal freshly caught out of the sea with a maze of streets lined with restaurants, bars and carpet.

Leather goods and spice shops. There is also a Tuesday market here if your looking for a bargain but don't forget to haggle.

The Hisaronu / Central Hisaronu area

The town of Hisaronu is very popular with British holiday makers the locals are friendly and many speak good English it offers a wide range of shops including crafted tableware, fake designer clothing, pictures, leather bags and Turkish delight there are also an abundance of jewellery shops which are much cheaper than England. The resturants offer a wide selection of food from english,turkish and.chinese and alot of the bars also offer free wifi

There are beauty shops where you can get your nails done, hair dressers and tattoo shops. There are many  wonderful excursions from the area including Dalyan turtle beach, Epheesus and Pamukkale and Siklikent gorge, , Jeep safari, horse riding. There are many local tour companies offering these excursions. There is also a weekly market here on Monday offering lots of bargains.

Fly to Dalaman Airport Transfers to the apartment takes about 50 minutes and can be arranged for you via a local agent. please note as from 2010 no liquids are allowed to be taken through passport control at dalaman airport you can buy them at duty free and the shops in the airport

“Wonderful Complex and Apartment with everything you need” Linda, the owner of this apartment was extremely helpful and efficient from the moment we made our first enquiry about her property. The whole booking process was reassuringly straightforward and the best we have encountered. The apartment itself is spotlessly clean and has everything you could possible need during your stay. The four of us (including kids of 12 and 14) had plenty of room and the air con in the bedrooms is a real bonus! The apartment was cleaned every other day and all staff on site were extremely helpful. The complex was wonderful. The pool area has great mountain views, is in a peaceful area of the resort, and always had sun beds available - and we were there in August! It was less than a 10 minute walk to the very centre of the town and here you will find every kind of bar and restaurant you could ask for. We got the Dolmus down to Olu Deniz most days or evenings. You can flag one down just a few minutes walk away from the apartment. The beach here is beautiful and the Dolmus drops you right down to it. Very straighforward. Would recommend the boat trips - brilliant fun and cheap day out! I would like to thank Linda and her family for a wonderful holiday and for making the whole process so easy from start to finish.

fantastic holiday the complex is superb staff are amazing charlie the bar man kept singing welcome to paradise he was right i would give 11 out of 10 i would certainly recommend your apartment to everyone hope to return next year nick june 2010 (already booked 2011)
