Home description

Completed to a very high specification, spacious and well furnished. Large open plan ground floor with an adjoining 40m2. covered outdoor terrace and a single depth 40m2 . private pool. The villa is light and airy and all rooms have air conditioning. Each floor of the villa has a furnished terrace with stunning views of the mountains and on the third floor, of the sea.

The Villa is very well placed for exploring the extensive coastline or historical sites that characterise this area. Hisoranu has a wealth of shops, bars and restaurants and a local market on Mondays. Fetiye, just 15 minutes by car, is a large harbour town where you can catch one of the wonderful boat trips that explore the Turquoise Coast. Here, the Tuesday Market is the largest in the area.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Olu Deniz beach, famous for The Blue Lagoon, is a ten minute dolmus ride (local bus). It has one of the best beaches in the Mediterranean, perfect for sunbathing and swimming. The turquoise water is crystal clear; the sea and sky blend into one with the mountains as a backdrop. You can try paragliding or take a boat or just enjoy being on a beach inside the national park. Fetiye is the main town of the area and has many facilites and places of interest to enjoy. There are picturesque villages and towns all along this glorious stretch of coast all accessible by public transport if you do not want to drive.

Hisaronu area

The main street of HIsaronu has colourful shops, bars and restauants with culinary delights from around the world. The large weekly market has lots of bargains and also the freshest produce you will find anywhere. You can go horseriding through the forest, or visit the ghost town at Kaya Village, the setting for Louis de Berniere's latest book 'Birds Without WIngs.' There are many day excursions to areas of interest, the operator will pick you up and return you to the villa included in the cost. Amongst the best trips are the exhilarating jeep safari which includes visitng ancient ruins, tickling trout and a visit to the mudbaths all in one day! Or a day to the extraordinary Saklikent Gorge, the second longest in Europe.

How to get there

Fly to Dalaman Airport just 60 kms from the Villa Karasu. Cheap flights available from all the usual operators. Car hire advised, this and/or airport transfers can be made for you by our local representantives at very competitive prices. e.g. transfer(@ £40 for six people.

All of the windows are double glazed and have insect netting including the eight sets of french doors across the three floors so that the beautiful mountain breeze can be enjoyed at all times. The floors are marble throughout. The double bedrooms have kingsized beds and the remaining bedrooms have full size single divan beds all with ample wardrobe and drawer space. Twelve adults can sleep in comfort. The bathrooms all have overhead showers.

A large terraced garden has been well planted with trees, shrubs and flowers. There are eight sunbeds with mattresses, four umberellas and four poolside chairs and a table.

Conditions

NOn-smoking inside the viilla. Refundable breakages deposit payable locally. All linen and bathroom towels provided, they will be changed at least twice a week over a two week letting. A welcome pack is provided with tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bottled water eggs and bread. Our local English representatives can organise any excursions for you, and at an additional cost will provide a daily maid or cook. They also provide a 24/7 call out service for any emergencies.

The villa was completed in 2005 and was only available to let for a a few weeks.
