Our Lauren 1 apartment is the ground floor apartment in a building housing just two apartments. It has been furnished and equipped to very high standards to provide a home from home in the sun, that attracts repeat guests year after year. Lauren 1 is designed and equipped for those looking for somewhere very special to spend their holidays.
Set on an exclusive, highly desirable private site of just 2 apartments, both privately owned, they share a large, 50m2 swimming pool and landscaped gardens, which are immaculately maintained at all times. Lauren has a beautiful location with magnificent views of Babadag and Mendos Mountains. The site has a peaceful location yet is just a 10 minute stroll from the lively, but friendly resort of Hisaronu, with its abundance of restaurants, shops and bars.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
The Turquoise coast is on the south west coast of Turkey. It is a region of outstanding natural beauty, being very green and mountainous. Lauren 1 apartment is set on a plateau, 1000ft above sea level, the cooling breezes making it more comfortable in the hot summer temperatures. Ovacik is on the outskirts of the lively resort of Hisaronu ( 10 minutes walk ), and only 10 minutes by dolmus from the breath-taking coastline of Olu Deniz. A daily, free courtesy bus is available May - October to a private beach on the lagoon at OluDeniz beach. Fethiye is only 15 minutes by dolmus. This is a busy market town set on a beautiful natural harbour. A great place to people watch. The dolmus (minibus) is the cheapest and easiest way of getting around. They can be caught on the main Fethiye-Hisaronu road, just 5 minutes from the apartment.
Hisaronu / Ovacik area
Ovacik is a quiet, rural area just outside of Hisaronu. There are several small supermarkets nearby for all food essentials and several restaurants, but most of the nightlife is found in the lively resort of Hisaronu. This is just a 10 minute stroll away. Here you will find every type of international cuisine, all cooked to high standards, but costing very little. There are many bars here although they are generally not rowdy.
There are many activities and places of interest in this region on Turkey. Gullet criuses can be taken from Fethiye and Olu Deniz. Water sports and paragliding are available from Olu Deniz. Other arranged day trips,which can be booked from agents in Hisaronu, include; Jeep Safari, Dalayan river cruise and mud baths, Saklikient gorge, the ancient city of Ephesus, the cotton mountains of Pamukale and many more.
How to get there
Fly to Dalaman airport. The journey to the apartment takes approximately 50-60 minutes. Private transfers can be arranged. Chartered flights can be booked with several internet booking agencies, including, www.charterflights.co.uk, www.flightline.co.uk, www.airflights.co.uk. Scheduled flights with Cyprus turkish airlines fly year round, direct from the UK to Dalaman.

Further details indoors: Lauren 1 has a quality feel to it that will not go unmissed. The kitchen has handmade pine cupboards with marble work tops. The cupboards are well stocked with all the crocs and pots you'll need. There is a large fridge freezer, a full cooker with gas hob and a washing machine. The lounge is beautifully designed and furnished. It has two sofas, one of which can be pulled out into a large bed for two. There is a cast iron wood burner for our winter guests to feel cosy. Extra luxuries include digital television with many English speaking channels, a DVD player and a CD stereo for our guests to enjoy. There is a large selection of DVDs and CDs for the guests to enjoy.
The bedrooms, one double and one twin, have ample wardrobe and cupboard space, and there is a hairdryer in each room.
Both the bathroom and shower room have floor to ceiling ceramics. Hot water is provided by either solar panels or electric immersion, so there is always hot water no matter what the weather is like.
The large covered terrace area overlooks the pool and has rural and mountain views all around. The large, private terrace for Lauren 1 guests only, is set up for alfresco dining and has a BBQ. From the terrace you can step straight down to the pool area, furnished with your own private sunbeds and parasols. As the pool is only shared with the upstairs apartment, it should never be crowded, and you may even have it to yourselves on occasions. There is also a children's pool. The apartment block is surrounded by private landscaped gardens and has secured parking spaces for two cars.
Both the bedrooms and the lounge has air conditioning which cool and heat the rooms as required, use of which is included in the price. Hot water is supplied by solar heating or electric immersion, so no matter what the weather there will always be hot water.
Towels (not beach towels), and crisp cotton bedlinen is supplied, and the apartment is cleaned thoroughly and linen changed mid week for 1 week bookings, and every 5 days for bookings of 2 or more weeks. (Once a week in during the winter months). Again, this is all included in our prices.
We have endeavoured to make the apartment more comfortable, better equipped, and generally more impressive that the average holiday rental property. A real home from home. Ongoing maintenance between every set of guests means that the apartment will always look fresh and clean at all times of the year.

Further details outdoors: The next best thing to a private villa.... Lauren 1 shares the grounds and pool only with the apartment above you are never crowded and often have the pool area to yourselves. Lauren 1 benefits from a large private terrace, furnished for alfresco dining. The terrace is gated making it safe for children, and overlooks the immaculately maintained pool. The pool and gardens are tended to daily so are always beautiful and clean.

A wood burning stove installed in the lounge fireplace is used to heat the apartment during the winter months. (a small charge will be made for fuel, £10 per week)
Infant travel cot available at no charge. (Please book in advance of arrival)
Help and advise is available 24hrs a day to ensure a carefree holiday.

CHANGEOVER DAY ; MONDAY (flexible out of season)

Prices per week for parties of upto 4 persons.
Extra guests will be charged £20 per person per week. Maximum 6 guests.
The rental charge includes;
-Cleaning and linen change, mid week for 1 week bookings, and every 5 days for bookings of 2 or more weeks, May - October. (Once weekly, November - April)
-Use of airconditioning
-A welcome pack of food essentials for your arrival.
-A representative to welcome you on arrival, and be on hand if called on during your stay.
During the winter months, a £10 per week, local charge is made for fuel for the wood burner.
Xmas bookings ; the apartment will be decorated festively.
A non refundable deposit of £50 per week is required to secure a booking, the balance being due 8 weeks before arrival.
CANCELLATIONS: made 2-8 weeks before departure, 50% refund will be given. Less than 2 weeks, no refund will be given.
A refundable breakages deposit of £200 is required on arrival. This will be refunded at the end of your holiday, less the cost of any damages. Minor breakages, i.e the odd glass, plate etc, will be overlooked.
Return airport transfers can be pre arranged by us at a charge of £70 for parties of upto 4, or £85 for parties of 5 or 6.
