Luxury 3 bedroom apartment in Ovacik, situated in the foothills of the Taurus mountains between Oludeniz beach and Fethiye within a short walk to the vibrant town of Hisaronu. The apartment has spectacular views overlooking the surrounding mountains such as Mount Babadag, from which paragliders descend from its' 2000 metre peak to the beach below. There are many restaurants, shops, and supermarkets all within walking distance. Beach is a short bus ride away.
The complex ıs quıet and relaxıng as ıt consists of only 8 apartments in 4 buildings with a large central pool and ıs maıntaıned to a very hıgh standard. The apartment also benefıts from havıng a cooker and satelıte T.V servıce as well as a huge ensuıte walk-ın shower room ın the master bedroom.
We can arrange Aırport Transfers for 60 GBP for upto 4 people (15 GBP per extrta person). We can also provıde baby cots/ high chairs (£30) and a free holiday rep service if required and can advise you on all matters of arranging your holiday. To get to the beach or Fethiye town local buses (dolmuses) can be picked up anywhere on the main road, just 50 metres from our apartment. A free bus service that will pick you up from your apartment and bring you to a private Beach in Oludeniz is also available (detaıls provided). The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
This part of coastline is known as the Turquoise Coast. Summer temperatures average 33 - 40+C with a winter average of 16C. The area is steeped in history being the location of ancient Lycia, and contains a large number of historic ruins such as at Kaunos, Xanthos, Letoon and Patara.
The area around Fethiye and Oludeniz is one of the most spectacular regions in the Mediterranean, offering a broad mix of beach resorts, boat excursions, watersports, and incredible mountain scenery. From Fethiye the main road to Ovacik and Hisaronu, climbs up through pine-forest clad hills to a small plateau where the apartment is situated. The Lycian Trial, a 530 km hiking trail begins here and ends just short of Antalya further East. The road then descends to Oludeniz Beach with it stunning lagoon, pictured above.
Hisaronu / Ovacik area
Ölü Deniz
Literally meaning " Dead Sea", this beach and lagoon is arguably the most photographed beach in Europe. It is a popular tourist destination in the summer and has lots of restaurants, shops, bars and the beach has shower, toilet and changing areas. The beach is free but the lagoon charges a very small entrance fee, but is well worth it. Boat trips to many of the local beauty spots and islands leave from here every morning. With its laid back atmosphere you can easily spend the day on the beach watching the paragliders descending from Mount Babadag on to the beach front. If you are brave enough you can try a tandem paraglide from Mount Babadag. Well worth it - an unforgettable and unique experience to this area.
Fethiye
Fethiye is a lively bustling town with shops, markets, and plenty of nightlife. The town has a port where you can catch a hydrofoil to Rhodes (1.5 hour). You can also pick up many boat tours, fishing trips and diving excursions from here. Many of the restaurants serve local and international food to suit all tastes. Fethiye is also a main centre for getting a bus to all parts of Turkey. The market in Fethiye is on Tuesdays and is definitely worth a visit to get a bargain. Çalis Beach is located 5 Kms north of Fethiye and can be reached either by Dolmus or Water Taxi from Fethiye harbour. There are restaurants, bars and shops. The westerly facing beach is perfect for watching the sunset.
Kayakoy Village
This deserted Greek settlement was built in the 14th century on the ancient site of Karmillassos which was destroyed by earthquake. The village was abandoned after the Turkish and Greek governments signed a 'population exchange' agreement in 1922. The Greek population was exchanged with the Turkish population residing in Western Thrace. The large hillside town is still abandoned and the ruins have the feel of a ghost town. Kayakoy can be reached by dolmus or on foot via a well marked hiking trail from Oludeniz or Fethiye.
Lycian Trail
The Lycian Trail a 530 km hiking trail begins just down the road from our apartment. Obviously a major expedition to attempt the whole trail which can take over a month to complete. A few hours walk out on this trail from Ovacik gives you some spectacular Views over Oludeniz and the Coast line. (Go prepared though- can be very hot in the summer)
Hisaronu/Ovacik
This area situated between Fethiye and Oludeniz benefits from spectacular mountain views and cooling breezes, welcomed in the heat of the summer months. The area has many restaurants and shops, especially in the centre of Hisaronu. Here you can also arrange tours and trips from the many travel agents. There are many bars and a few clubs but the area still remains a friendly, relaxed atmosphere suitable for families as well.
How to get there
Fly into Dalaman airport. We can arrange transfers, which would cost £15 per person return. Minimum Cost of £60 return in luxury air-conditioned vehicle. Driver will supply keys for apartment and collect you when leaving.

Further details indoors: The apartment is situated on the top two floors of the building and has 3 bedrooms and a large Kitchen/ living room area with two terraces on opposite sides of the apartment, one overlooking the pool area. The upper floor has a very spacious master room with a super-king size bed and a huge en suite walk-in shower room. The first floor has the two terraces and the two other bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two singles. Satelite T.V is provided with a DVD combo-TV and a selection of DVD's to watch. There is another smaller T.V with DVD player located in the twin room. The kitchen is fully fitted with all modern appliances. The apartment and its grounds are regularly maintained and cleaning services provided. (extra cleaning services can be arranged). All rooms have air conditioning.
Further details outdoors: Two sun-beds and a large parasol are also provided with the apartment for exterior use when sitting around the pool. The main terrace has its own table and chairs for your use. The pool and complex grounds are constantly maintained and cleaned to a high standard. There is also on-site parking for a car if you choose to hire a car during your holiday.
Further details
The apartment is non-smoking and can sleep a maximum of six. A deposit of £150 against breakages and damage will be required and immediately repaid to you once the apartment has been checked. Though the rental is on a weekly basis, long term rental or short stays for people passing through can be arranged.
