About the home

Situated in Ovacik, just 15 minutes walk from the lively resort of Hisaronu with its many restaurants shops and bars. The property is 7km from the thriving harbour town of Fethiye and 5km from the stunning beach at Olu Deniz.

Oleander B1 is a lovely 2 bedroom apartment with a large terrace overlooking the clover leaf shaped swimming pool. Set in a small development of just 8 apartments and 2 villas with beautiful mature gardens and breathtaking mountain views.

It is the perfect location for couples and families looking for quiet accommodation with easy access to all the local amenties.

Facilities

The main entrance door opens into the fully fitted kitchen that has been handmade from local soild pine with marble worktops. The cupboards are fully stocked with everything you may require for self catering.
The lounge area has a large ceiling fan and is to the right of the kitchen with french doors leading onto the large terrace and is furnished to a high standard.
The bedrooms both have air conditioning units and handmade pine built in wardrobes and dressing tables with plenty of storage.
The shower room is fully tiled from floor to ceiling and has a w.c. shower and hand basin with mirror over it and a hair dryer to the side.

Further details outdoors:
The swimming pool is an unusual clover leaf shape and is cleaned every day.There is a small children's pool,outside shower area,sun beds and parasols.
The well maintained gardens are beautiful with some mature olive trees and alot of sweet smelling rose bushes.
The development is surrounded by a wall and is gated and well lit at night.
The outside terrace is a large L shape and has a handmade soild pine dining table with 6 chairs and a small BBQ in one area,a large hammock and solid pine benches and a coffee table in another area with views to the mountain from here you can watch the paragliders coming down from Babadag mountain to Olu Deniz beach.

Conditions

Smokers are welcome in our property but we would prefer no smoking in the bedrooms.
We do not ask for a deposit for damage or breakages however an inventory check is carried out every time guests leave therefore we reserve the right to charge for any damages or breakages that occur during your stay.
A deposit of £50.00 per week is required at time of booking (non refundable)

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

The Turquose Coast is Turkeys most southwest shore and is dominated by the Toros mountain range which drop to the sea offering beautiful scenery and some of the finest beaches on the mediterranean.

Fethiye is the principal town of the area and offers visitors a great mix of old and new as it is still very much a typical working turkish town. The yachts in the harbour rub shoulders with brightly painted working fishing boats.
The mountains in the area offer some great days out visit the ancient lycian city at Tlos,explore the dramatic Saklikent Gorge or walk some of The Lycian Way.

The beaches offer daily boat trips to many coves and islands inaccessible to vehicles,visit Patara one of the longest beaches in the mediterranean or Dalyan with its famous rock tombs and stunning beach where the loggerhead turtles lay their eggs or why not try paragliding over the breathtaking lagoon at Olu Deniz.

The Hisaronu / Ovacik area

Ovacik lies on the outskirts of Hisaronu,7km from Fethiye and 5 km from Olu Deniz,set on a plateau 300m above sea level where the air is always clean,fresh and a few degrees cooler than on the coast.

The main Fethiye to Olu Deniz road passes through the centre of Ovacik with bars restaurants and small supermarkets at its side.Where the road forks off to Hisaronu there is a large open area where the monday market is held. Hisaronu is a pretty well maintained resort and can be as quiet or as lively as you want it to be with some larger supermarkets,go kart track,bars,restaurants,shops and excursion agencies.

After Hisaronu the road leads into KayaKoy (The Ghost Village)a mysterious place with over 1500 buildings completely abandoned. From here the road leads down to the coast and ends at Gemiler Bay,a beautiful unspoilt cove much quieter than Olu Deniz.

All vehicles are modern and equipped with air conditioning and seat belts,child seats are available but must be requested at time of booking.The drivers hold the keys to the apartment and on arrival will assist you with your luggage and open up for you.
