About the home

This luxury detached private villa, is set in a rural location overlooking meadow land on the outskirts of Ovacik, making this the perfect location for a quiet, relaxing holiday. The villa is finished and furnished to a very high standard, complete with air conditioning units to all rooms. Three double bedrooms, master bedroom with en suite facilities. Large open plan ground floor, giving a light airy and spacious feel. The ground floor comprises lounge, with 2, 3 seated sofas, one converting to a sofa bed, open fireplace, 6 seated dining area, fully fitted kitchen, including dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, electric fan oven, duel fuel 4 ring hob, ground floor cloakroom. Large sun terraces to front of property, upper sun terraces leading direct from bedrooms with coffee table and seating, ideal for morning coffee or watching the fabulous sunset of an evening. Both terraces overlook the large (65sqm) private swimming pool area and uninterupted meadow land beyond. Making this the perfect ideal holiday home. The rooms are spacious and fully furnished with all amenities to make your holiday as comfortable and hassle-free as you would expect.Mosquito screens are fitted to all windows.

Although the villa is set in a rural location, perfect for relaxing, the lively village of Hisaronu, and the famous Oludeniz beach are a short dolmus ride away.

Club Orka Hotel, who built our villa, is a 10 minute walk away. You are welcome to use all the facilities in this 4 star Hotel as if you were guests staying there. Their facilities include 3 large pools, one with water slide, pool side bars and restaurants, a Turkish Bath, pool table and table tennis, a Children’s club and various themed entertainments. A free courtesy minibus will shuttle you to their own private beach within the Blue Lagoon.

Meadow view villa rental price includes maid service once a week, bed linen, bath and hand towels.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

The Turquoise Coast or Lycia region of Turkey offers astonishingly beautiful scenery, from idyllic coves and beaches bordering on a deep turquoise, crystal clear sea, to spectacular majestic mountains and tranquil pine forests.

The area around Fethiye is one of Turkey’s most beautiful, offering a perfect mix of beach resorts and mountain scenery with small rural villages.

The journey from Dalaman airport to the Gulf of Fethiye takes about forty five mins. (45km). The road climbs into the mountains before revealing the most breathtaking views. The forest-clad mountain range reaches as far as the eye can see, providing the dramatic backdrop to the plains, coastal towns, villages and beaches that are scattered throughout the region.

The Villa is situated in the beautiful valley of Ovacik which is a peaceful and relaxing area. The villa enjoys an idyllic location with breathtaking views of Babadag and Mendos mountains to the north of the villa and green meadows to the south. You can enjoy watching the sun rise and set each day.

A short walk along the road takes you to the small village of Ovacik, where there are many bars, restaurants and shops. Or you can jump on a dolmus at the top of the hill to Fethiye, Oludeniz or Hisaronu, all a short journey away.

This region is the heart of ancient Lycia and host to a number of historic sites amongst which are Kaunos, Tlos, Pinara, Letoon, Xanthos and Patara.

The Gulf is also rich in scenic opportunity with plenty to explore - the dramatic beaches of Oludeniz, the market town of Fethiye, the fascinating ruins of the old Greek settlement at Kaya, the remarkable Dalyan Delta and the mountain ranges themselves.

The Hisaronu / Ovacik area

The resort villages of Hisaronu and Ovacik nestle between pine clad mountains on a plateau 1500 feet above sea level under Mount Babadag. Hisaronu began as a farming village until being discovered by back-packing holidaymakers in the 1960's. It is now a well managed and lively resort with a wealth of restaurants and bars, catering for all tastes, budgets and ages. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from, as well as traditional style Turkish cuisine served in a variety of lokantas, you’ll also find food from around the world, including Chinese, Indian, and even English cuisine to reflect the tastes of the many international visitors.
The people here are very friendly and will make you feel most welcome.

During the summer months many well stocked mini markets are dotted throughout this area,catering for all your basic needs. Hisaronu has an abundance of shops where you can find all the fake designer gear you could possibly wish for, many ATM's, a doctors and a chemist.

There is a local market on Monday in Hisaronu where you will find many bargains. On Tuesday there is a huge market in Fethiye selling everything you can think of. A visit here is well worth the effort just to admire the abundance of fresh fruit and veg stalls. When you have finished shopping why not stop and rest your feet at one of the many cafes, for a freshly made pancake or a tasty chicken / lamb kebab, all washed down by freshly squeezed orange juice!

Easily accessible from Ovacik / Hisaronu by regular and low-price minibus (dolmus), is Oludeniz, undoubtedly one of the most spectacular beaches in all of Turkey found nestling at the foot of Babadag mountain. . A wide bay of course white sand, with the crystal clear blue sea gently lapping the shore,curving round to meet the natural sheltered lagoon. The lagoon with its calm sheltered waters makes it perfect for children.

Oludeniz offers many beach side cafes and restaurants and all the usual watersports, paracending, pedalo's, banana boats and you can, if you dare, take part in tandem paragliding descending from the peak of Babadag mountain landing some 40 mins later on the beach at Oludeniz. Alternatively you can relax and sunbathe watching the world go by. The ultimate beach resort

There are a wealth of trips that can be booked with many agents trying to sell them to you! If you are prepared to haggle there are some good deals to be had.

White water rafting at Saklikent for the more adventurous

Horse riding through the mountains to the Ghost village of Kaya Koy.

Nightlife can be a quite dinner, in one of the many open air restaurants in Hisaronu, Oludeniz or by the harbour side in Fethiye. Or why not take the water taxi from the harbour in Fethiye to Calais where you can watch the magnificent sunset from one of the many beachside restaurants.

If it is a livelier evening you are looking for, then Hisaronu is the place to be, it has many bars and clubs and really comes into it's own at night, however, still managing to retain it's family appeal.

Whatever you are looking for this is the place to be as it caters for all.
