About the home

The villa is located close to the centre of Hisaronu, in a prime spot on the sought after Nicholas Gate complex with two good sized swimming pools and beautifully landscaped gardens. The lively hillside town of Hisaronu with its numerous bars, restaurants and shops is less than 5 minutes walk away, yet the complex is set in an exclusive tranquil setting, backing on to the pine forest.

The accommodation is extremely spacious and consists 2 air-conditioned bedrooms (master bedroom with en suite) each with their own balcony, separate bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioned lounge/dining area, downstairs WC and large covered terrace. The spacious and cool lower ground floor area has plenty of natural light with double bed and sofa providing additional accommodation if required.

Olu Deniz with its stunning beach and the ancient market/harbour town of Fethiye are both well connected with the frequent and low cost dolmus (mini-buse) service.

Local activities include traditional Turkish nights, gulet cruises, tandem paragliding 6000ft from the summit of Babadag Mountain overlooking the lagoon at Olu Deniz, scuba diving, white water rafting, horse riding and much more.....…Or you can just sit back with a glass of raki, relax and enjoy the sunshine!

Trips to the famous historical sites at Ephesus, Pamukkale, the mud baths at Dalyan, plus many more can be arranged with the local agents.

“Well appointed villa in a glorious location” Very easy and friendly booking process with the owners. Airport transfers were prompt and efficient each way. Villa clean and tidy on arrival with plenty of spare laundry although we arrived in the evening and there was half a loo roll to supply 3 bathrooms! Complex was quiet and really well maintained, we had a leak on one of the air conditioning units and the management company came and sorted the problem promptly. The location is far enough away from the noise of Hisaronu but close enough to go and find some lovely restaurants in the evening. The bar opposite is run by a very friendly man called Mehmet who along with his wife run a great BBQ twice a week which is really good value and relaxed. The dolmus buses are so easy to flag down and cheap that nipping down to Olu Deniz beach is very easy. The lagoon is worth a visit but I loved the sea and the pebble/ sandy beach. Beach shoes essential. We loved the boat trip we took, the water is so clear and warm with the pine forests coming down to the waters edge. Finally on our last day two of us went paragliding off the 6500 foot mountain. Fantastic! I wholly recommend this villa and area to you.

“prime position on small complex, with fabulous views.” Transfers arranged with the owner went perfect no problems at all. our party of 6 adults all felt the Villa had a spacious bright open feel to it, this extended outside to a very spacious terrace with ample room to seat 6 people. 2 of the bedrooms also have balconies if you require your own space. The location is perfect, although the Villa has a slightly elevated position above The main street its only a few minutes walk, to shops bars and restaurants but we were never disturbed by noise or music. The pool area and gardens are cleaned daily. The local area has very reasonable restaurants, for example the Lemon Tree offered 3 courses including tender lean steak or chicken for less than £8. The Dolmus buses run every few minutes, for about £1.30 you can be at the beach resort of Olu Deniz in 5 minutes, here you have another choice of restaurants, bars and shops. Supermarkets seem to be on every corner in both Hisaronu and Olu Deniz. We have visited other resorts in Turkey over the years until we discovered this area, it has a very comfortable relaxing feel to it, although some bars can be quite lively at night. We travelled from 21/05/12 for 11 nights it was very cool on a night, during the day it was 27degrees hot with scattered clouds and a nice warm breeze, just one day we had heavy cloud overall a lovely holiday and would stay at this Villa again.
