Dalriada is a large fully air-conditioned luxury villa furnished to the highest standard. All 3 bedrooms are large and all 3 bedrooms have large en-suites. All bedrooms lead onto their own balcony. Two separate living rooms allow everyone to spread out and find their own space. The Villa has a Satellite TV , DVD and a Hi-Fi in the living/sitting rooms.
The spacious luxury kitchen is fully equipped and includes quality "silver" goods including a dishwasher , microwave , and washing machine etc. It is very much home-from-home with all of the facilities and equipment you normally take for granted ... and often don't find on holiday.
This really is the perfect location as it is ideally placed no matter what type of holiday you want. There are stunning views from the Villa which is set in the ideal spot for a relaxing holiday yet it is only a 3 minute walk from the Dolmus (local bus). A choice of restaurants , bars and shops are only a few minutes walk away. There is also a sizeable Supermarket a few minutes walk away. Olu Deniz beach , the nightlife of Hisaronu and the vibrant town of Fethiye are within easy reach.
The outside area has been given a lot of thought and there is both sun and comfortable shaded areas throughout the day.
No expense has been spared to make your holiday in Villa Dalriada an experience you will never forget.

In addition to each of the large bedrooms having a generous en-suite and a balcony, all bedrooms have generous fitted wardrobes giving ample storage and all bedrooms are equipped with hair-driers & air con and a remote control ceiling fan (these really make a difference). You won't be living out of a suitcase in Villa Dalriada .
The living room has sliding doors onto the pool and is extremely spacious. The living room also houses a comfortable dining table and chairs for the odd occasion you don't want to dine outside. Also in the living room is a Satellite Receiver, a 32" LCD TV, DVD player and HI-FI.
In the separate sitting room which also has an LCD TV, DVD player and HI-FI, there is a large balcony off the sitting room with modern comfortable ratan 3 piece suite and table. It is a perfect spot for an evening refreshment whilst you watch the sun go down over the hills.
You will find everything you need in the large luxury kitchen from sieves to garlic crushers The kitchen appliances are all top quality with the dishwasher making clearing up after a family meal easy. The washing machine easy to operate and has fast wash programmes making a clothes freshen-up quick and easy. We have provided instructions in Englsh to make life easy. An "essential" whirly-gig clothes drier is provided as is an ironing board and iron etc.

The pool is a large 55 m2 which is great for either a good swim ... or for having fun wrestling with the inflatable lounger! The wide arc of tiled steps gives easy and safe access into the pool. If you aren't a keen swimmer or have simply tired yourself out, a semi-submerged seat on the pool steps feels just as good
A built-in BBQ gives you the opportunity to make full use of the outdoor space and enjoy the lovely evening climate.
The garden in on two levels allowing you personal space and giving you the choice of sun or shade as you wish. There is a large shaded terrace area for outside dining. This is in addition to the traditional Turkish "koshk" which is a fantastic shaded place to lounge about on low cushions. Sunbeds with mattresses, Sun Chairs, bean-bags, outside tables and parasols are also provided.
The gardens have been recently landscaped and has a generous tiled area for sunbeds making it supremely practical and flexible.

Peace of mind and a hassle free holiday is our top priority. You will be visited on your first day to explain how everything works and anything you want to know about the area. If you need more information or help during the holiday and English speaker is only a call away. A local 24x7 emergency number is provided and is answered by excellent English speakers. The villa management company have an office in Hisaronu where you can pop in to say hello ... or use their laptop and internet access !
Our guests are welcome to use facilities at the Club Orka Hotel in Ovacik. This a 4 star hotel and is one of the best in the area. Club Orka Hotel is approximately a 7 minute walk away. Our guests are welcome to use all of the Hotel facilities as if they were guests of the Hotel. These include a Children's club , 3 pools , water-slide , table tennis, pool table , Turkish Baths and much more.
The rental price includes bed linen, towels and laundry. The cost of electricity and air-conditioning use is also included. We just ask guests to use the air-conditioning responsibly.
We like to make life comfortable so we can arrange most things you might like for a nominal cost be that a welcome pack on arrival, specific shopping, items for babies etc.
We really try to make everything run as smoothly as possible !

The Turquoise Coast is a fascinating and exiting area. Anyone who has not visited the Turquoise Coast will be amazed by the stunning scenery , the fantastic beaches , a fascinating coastline and the crystal clear water ... but there is so much more..
Quite apart from the natural beauty there are an endless number of activities , inexpensive days out, incredible untouched historic sites, great nightlife ... and some fun shopping.
The food available in the area is truly mouth-watering. The fruit and vegetables are locally grown and are fresh and delicious. The enormous range of restaurants transforms these into memorable Turkish meals which are extremely tasty ,health and cheap !. All tastes are catered for so if you prefer British , Indian , Italian or Chinese foods , these are all readily available.
If you like exploring car or jeep rental is not expensive. There is a stunning unspoiled coastline out there waiting for you !
The Hisaronu / Ovacik area
Ovacik is situated on a plateau 4km from the famous beach of Olu Deniz. As Ovacik is on a plateau between Fethiye and Olu Deniz it benefits from cooler temperatures and lower humidity than at sea level. It has many lovely restaurants and bars just a few minutes walk from our villa. If you are taking things at a leisurely pace, walk to the nearest market in the morning for some freshly baked bread & eat this with local soft cheese, wonderful tasting tomatoes & olives for a traditional breakfast on the terrace of the villa. Follow this by a refreshing swim in the pool. What a great way to start any day!
Also on your doorstep is horse riding, great walks, quad-bike hire, paragliding, microlight flights, jeep safari, inexpensive boat trips, rafting, fishing, Aquapark and just too many other things to list.
A short 15 min stroll (or shorter Dolmus ride !) will take you to the larger village of Hisaronu. This has many colourful shops, restaurants, bars & nightclubs. It also has cash machines, doctors, pharmacies, supermarkets, Post Office and a weekly market in which you can haggle for leather goods, beautiful jewellery, crafts and of course Turkey's famous "genuine imitation" designer goods! The local people expect you to haggle which can be a lot of fun, especially when you end up with a super bargain!
Olu Deniz is Turkey's most photographed beach, with it's white beach, turquoise sea and Blue Lagoon. Just to lie in the sun looking up to the descending para gliders is both relaxing & exciting to watch !. Better still try paragliding yourself with a tandem flight. Take a short walk to the nearby Blue Lagoon to soak up the relaxing atmosphere & child friendly gently sloping beaches or just chill on Olu Deniz beach watching the day trip boats bob about on the turquoise water. Later indulge in a fabulous lunch or a cold beer (or both) at one of the beach restaurants.
Fethiye has a large weekly market on a Tuesday. As well as local goods & crafts you can see local produce. The colours of the fruit & vegetables are vibrant and tempting. There are stalls selling freshly prepared pancakes with fillings such as honey, nuts and of course chocolate! Even if you are not out to buy anything it is a lovely experience.
Getting to know the local people is a lovely part of your holiday experience too. You will soon find out how friendly and helpful the Turkish folk are and it is one of the main reasons why we return to Turkey again and again.

Villa Dalriada is reached easily from Dalaman airport which is only 35 miles away.
The transfer time is approximately one hour and is most easily achieved by a private pick-up which we can arrange. The cost of a private transfer is good value and very reliable from £85 return.(prices correct for 2011). If you would rather use other Transfer options we are happy to assist
A number of airlines and tour operators fly to Dalaman from many UK airports. Flights can be very inexpensive especially if booked early.
