About the home

Magnolia D2 is a private complex with a large L shaped pool. The apartment has three bedrooms and is very spacious. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge which sleeps 2, and a double blow up bed in the upstairs bedroom which sleeps 2. There are three balconies, two to the front of the building and one to the rear. There is also a patio area and hammock at the side of the property. It has been furnished and equipped to a high standard and has everything you would desire.

The apartment is situated in the beautiful valley of Ovacik which is very peaceful and relaxing during the day. It has breathtaking views of Babadag and Mendos mountains .You can enjoy watching the sun rise and set each day. The pool is maintained every day, as are the gardens, by on site specialist staff. There is a small friendly snack bar on site where you can get essentials e.g. bread, milk, water and alcohol. A short walk up the road takes you to the small village of Ovacik, where there are many bars, restaurants and shops. You can jump on a dolmus at the top of the road to either Fethiye or Olu Deniz which is only a ten minute journey away. A short walk (12-15) mins will take you to the busy village of Hisaronu where you will find an abundance of restaurants, bars and shops.A new shopping complex was opened in 2007 and has 2 supermarkets, restaurants and shops. There is also a small theme park for everyone.

A free bus service is available twice daily, from the complex to take you to the private lagoon beach at Olu Deniz

Our apartment is very spacious. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The upper bedroom has an en suite with jacuzzi. There is a double blow up bed in the upstairs bedroom which would be ideal for a family with small children. Three balconies gives you the option of watching the sun rise in the morning on the front, and the beautiful sun set to the rear. Sun beds, both at patio area and around the pool are also available. The apartment is fully air conditioned. There is a patio area built for those of you who fancy a nice cosy night in!!! You can get meals delivered to the apartment of all kinds. A hammock is available for you to just lie, relax, and watch the world go by ! There is also a safety deposit box, for safe keeping of passports, money etc. The apartment is fitted with smoke alarms throughout. It also has satellite t.v..

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

The Turquoise Coast is situated South West of Turkey. It is an area of outstanding beauty with pine clad mountains, beaches, and lots to do for all ages. The apartment is situated in Ovacik which is very peaceful during the day. A short walk (approx 10/15 mins) takes you to the neighbouring village of Hisaronu where you will find a wide range of shops, restaurants, bars, clubs and hotels. From Hisaronu you can take a short dolmus ride to Kaya Village (which is also know as the Ghost Town) and is increasingly becoming a popular tourist attraction with it's many restaurants and bars. Olu Deniz is also a short dolmus ride away, here you will find one of the most photographed beaches in Turkey. It boasts a long blue lagoon which is suitable for all ages, there is also a private beach. Olu Deniz is a bit like Hisaronu, in that there are an abundance of restaurants, bars and shops. Fethiye is a 15 minute dolmus ride away and this is a bustling market town with a harbour and lots bars, restaurants, and shops (where you can shop till you drop). There is a Market here every Tuesday where you can gets lots of lovely presents to take back home. From the harbour you can also arrange many numerous boat trips (which is a must). The average temperature in the summer is 30 - 40 c.

The Hisaronu / Ovacik area

Ovakic/Hisaronu

Ovacik is quiet and peaceful during the day. It sits up the mountain 1000ft above sea level. Because of this there is normally a cooling breeze which can sometimes give you the impression that is is not as warm as it really is, but can be very welcoming in the hot summer temperatures.There are several small shops nearby for all your food essentials and also several hotels, restaurants and bars where you can get a three course meal at a very reasonable price. The Market is here every Monday. A 10 minute walk will take you to a new water park with 5 slides.
Most of the nightlife is based in the lively village of Hisaronu which is a short 10/15 mins walk away. Here you will find every kind of food you could possibly imagine, and the cost again is so economical. There is something for everyone here and you can only feel relaxed and content. From Hisaronu you can book a number of excursions, all which are available at very reasonable prices and most of these include lunch in the price.

“truely amazing apartment :) 5star plus accomadation :)” Firstly i would like to thank you both so much for letting us stay in your wonderful apartment, i have travelled many times to the area and stayed in many different places and your apartment is by far the best place we have stayed :) yet i must say that your photos do not do the place justice, it is far more superior than the pictures show and as for the jacuzzi, well we were speachless , still cant believe we stayed in such luxury for the week, we will definatley be back in touch with you to stay there again and highly recommed others to stay :) oh and as for the beds.......i did try to pack the mattress in my return suitcase, so comfy :) many thanks again Rachel and Kim xxx

We had a fabulous time in Turkey. This was our first visit to this country and the excellent home from home apartment of George and Jackie made it a holiday to remember !!! We will certainly be back again. John & Joyce, Broxburn. (June 2007)

This holiday was one of the best ones we have had !!! The apartment was spectacular and it just made you feel like you were at home giving you that feeling that you did not want to leave. The pool area and the whole resort was so clean. There was something for everyone here and our two boys had a whale of a time. Will be back next year guaranteed Ian & Wendy, Peebles. (July 2006)

Been to area of Turkey before eg. Marmaris, Gumbet & Altinkrum. This was our first vist to this area and we thoroughly enjoyed it. You had best of both world. Jackie & George's apartment was out of this world and we felt so welcome here. Our two girls had a ball. Will definitely be returning. Eric & Carol , Edinburgh (August 2006).

Had a fantastic holiday, weather, pool, accommodation brill !!!!!!! Lots to do outside in village and food and entertainment was excellent. Jeep Safari was very exciting. The island boat trips is a must, Going back next year in August (can't wait) to do it all again. Many thanks to George & Jackie Rob & Lynn Portsmouth (Sept 2006 ) Was there again this year and still fab !!! That good we have booked again next year .

The above prices are per week and are for 4/6 people sharing. If there are more than 4/6 a charge of £40 per person per week will be made. The apartment sleeps 6 comfortably. There is a sofa bed in lounge and a double inflatable bed in the upstairs bedroom if required for larger parties.

A deposit of £100 is required when booking.

Full payment is required 8 weeks before the start of your holiday.

£150 refundable deposit is required before your departure to cover cost of possible damage/breakages.

Cancellations:-

6 - 8 weeks 50% refund

Less than 6 weeks no refund will be given.

Transfer costs are for 4 people and will cost you £80 return. Extra people will cost £25 per head.

The prices include:- Cleaning / linen and towel change weekly.
