Home description
New for rental in 2010, this is a lovely detached villa with private pool and plenty of sun terraces, situated on the top road in Ovacik, quiet and peaceful location but within approximately a 15 min walk to the centre of Hisaronu, or about 5 min walk to nearest domlus (Turkish taxi).
Once you arrive at the Villa you will walk through a lovely garden with portable BBQ, at the front of the house is a private swimming pool with sunbeds and parasols in which to shade you from the mid day sun.
Once through the front door you enter the hallway which on your left you will find a downstairs toilet/shower room. In front of you is the kitchen which is fully equipped, a door from the kitchen leads you onto the terrace overlooking the garden and steps leading down to the pool area.
From the hallway there is also a large lounge area with open fireplace and TV for DVDs only plus ample seating plus a dining table and 8 chairs. doors from the lounge area also lead onto the terrace overlooking the pool and there is also a table and chairs plus a swing seat, a perfect place to while away time reading a book.
Follow the marble stairs up to the first floor and you will find a very large bathroom with corner bath (with shower attachment overhead) and a separate shower cubicle, There is also a large family bedroom with a double and single bed. A further twin bedded room. Plus a master double bedroom bedroom with en-suite shower room. The villa has three bedrooms on the first floor and a double sofa bed in the lounge (if required total 9 people.)

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
The Turquoise coast is located on the south west coast of Turkey . It was formerly known as Lycia in ancient times. It is a large region filled with breath-taking beauty, with pine-covered slopes rising straight out of the sparkling clear turquoise Mediterranean, hence its name the Turquoise Coast.
The region which is typically bathed in sunshine for 300 days of the year, has something to offer everyone, from sunbathing and swimming to a variety of sporting activities, historical sites, and a perfect mix of culture and tradition.
A genuine welcome is provided to all visitors when they come to this part of Turkey, where ancient civilisations have left their mark on the landscape, from the dramatic heights of the pine-clad Taurus Mountains to the turquoise-blue waters. Words cannot describe the magnificent beauty of this region.
Once you have visited this area you will want to return time after time.
Hisaronu / Ovacik area
Fethiye is a historical harbour town, which is worth a visit to see the ancient Lycian rock tombs, browse around the shops in the narrow streets of the old town or just admire the beautiful sunsets from one of the many restaurants or bars along the harbour. You can book boat tours of the 12 islands in Fethiye Bay or you can take a water-taxi to Calis beach, where there is also a waterpark. There is a large market in Fethiye every Tuesday where you can barter for goods to your hearts content or sit in one of the many cafes and drink Cay (tea) and sample the local pancakes.
Not far from Villa Eden by dolmus (turkish taxi in the form of a minibus) is Oludeniz which is famous for its blue lagoon and is the most photographed beach in Turkey.This is worth visiting in the evening also, to watch the paragliders descend onto the beach from Babadag (father mountain), against the backdrop of beautiful sunsets.
The surrounding countryside is well worth exploring why not visit Saklikent Gorge and walk through the 'cold water' or for the more energetic 'ringo ride' whilst stopping off for a mud bath! Visit Dalyan and take a look around the pretty town, enjoy a mud bath and then visit Turtle beach. Also definitely worth a visit are the remains of ancient civilizations at Xanthos, Tlos, Patara and Ephesus.
A few miles away by local bus from Ovacik is the ghost town of Kayakoy. This is the remains of a town vacated by the Greeks after the War of Independence in 1922. It is located on a hillside and it is fascinating to wander around the deserted houses and churches. It is a half-hour walk to the top of the hill behind the town. There you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the coastline below. A few miles beyond Kayakoy is Gemiler Beach, reached by bus service or a taxi but worth the effort, as it's a stunning location overlooking St. Nicholas Island.
Villa Eden is situated near to the popular resort of Hisaronu, where things come to life here after dark particularly, with all the restaurants, bars and clubs. There is plenty to do for everyone whether you want to just sit back and relax or enjoy the many sights which Turkey has to offer.

Further details outdoors: The outside area is spacious and set within large grounds and gardens. There is plenty of room to sit by the pool or relax on the covered terrace, or even sit in the swing chair and enjoy your afternoon siesta!
Sunbeds, cushions and parasols are provided as well as a BBQ and outside seating on the terrace in order for you to dine al fresco and watch the sunset over the mountains.

We can arrange airport transfers for you. A full shop or welcome pack can be undertaken for you - please enquire when booking. All linen and towels are provided but not beach towels, please bring your own. For a 2 week stay you will receive a bed linen and towel change after one week but not a full clean. A full clean can be arranged for you for an additional cost.
If you do not fancy hiring a car and driving yourselves we can arrange a mini bus or car, with your own driver, to take you where ever you want to visit, no need to rush, just spend as much time as you want at the local beauty spots. We can also arrange minibus hire/car hire for you. Also we can arrange any trips and excursions for you with return transfers from the villa (a small charge will be made for the transfers.) 24 hour helpline is provided - english speaking. Pool and garden maintained daily.
Conditions
All guests must have adequate travel insurance. A 25% deposit is required on booking, which is non refundable, the balance is due 6 weeks prior to the holiday. A £200 breakage deposit is required when balance is due, to be refunded within 2 weeks of your departure ( subject to satisfactory property inspection ). Minor breakages such as a glass or plate etc can be replaced locally, if you would leave a few lira to cover the cost that will be appreciated. Smoking allowed outside only please
