Our apartment at the Mavi, (meaning blue in turkish), is set in the beautiful village of Ovacik with views of Mount Babadag. A fantastic location benefitting from the tranquility of the mountains, yet only a 10 minute stroll into the lively and friendly town of Hisaronu. The infamous Olu Deniz beach is only a 10 minute dolmus ride away, with Fethiye town only 15 minutes by dolmus in the other direction!! The Mavi complex entails one villa and 10 x 1 bedroomed apartments, each with their own balcony area. The apartment is ideal for couples, a family of up to 4 or x2 couples sharing.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
The Turquoise Coast is located on the south west coast of Turkey. It was known as Lycia in ancient times. It is a region of breath-taking beauty, with pine-covered slopes rising straight out of the sparkling clear Mediterranean. The Mavi is set on a plateau, approximately 1000ft above sea level, the cooling breezes making it a delight in the hot summer temperatures. The region, bathed in sunshine for 300 days of the year, has something to offer everyone, from sunbathing and swimming to a variety of sporting activities. Hisaronu / Ovacik area
Ovacik is a quiet rural area situated between the lively, but friendly resort of Hisaronu and the nearby town of Fethiye. it is ideally located to receive a pleasant cooling breeze, offering refreshment from the summer sun. The dolmus, (pronounced dolmush), (minibus), is the cheapest and easiest way of getting around. The apartment is approx. a 5 minute stroll to the main Hisaronu-Fethiye road along which the dolmus runs approx. every 5-10 minutes between May and October, less frequently in winter months. Ovacik has several family run supermarkets where you can buy food and personal essentials. It also has a number of restaurants offering a variety of international cuisine, including traditional English foods, pizza, to traditional Turkish dishes, all at very reasonable cost. Olu deniz hosts the famous Blue Lagoon and is located approx. 10 minutes away by dolmus. Here you can see the paragliders glide down from Mount Babadag and land on the beach, a fantastic experience which you can participate in with a tandem pilot. The views are breathtaking, words simply are unable to describe them.
Many activities available include: -PARAGLIDING -HORSE RIDING -JEEP SAFARIS -EXCURSIONS TO EPHESUS &/OR PAMUKKALE (COTTON CASTLE) -BOAT TRIPS -DIVING FOR EXPERIENCED, BEGINNERS AND INEXPERIENCED DIVERS -WATER SPORTS -GULET CRUISES -WHITE WATER RAFTING -TURKISH BATHS to name but a few, and all can be booked locally in resort.
How to get there
- Fly to Dalaman airport - The journey to the apartment takes between 45-60 minutes depending upon arrival time - Private transfers can be arranged if required. (£60 return for up to 4 people. Further details indoors: The apartment has been furnished with quality local pine furniture. The bedroom has twin beds which can easily be pushed together for double use. There is a balcony from the bedroom with mountain views. The kitchenette is well-equipped with a hob and utensils to enable you to make a light meal or snack. The lounge area has a comfy sofabed which provides additional sleeping area for 2 people. There is a small dining table. There is a balcony from the lounge, allowing for al-fresco dining if desired!
Further details outdoors: The Mavi is set within beautiful gardens. There is a communal pool with a separate children's pool. Sunbeds and parasols are provided for use around the pool area.

The above prices are for the apartment per week for a maximun occupancy of 4 people.
Prices include:
-use of air-conditioning within the apartment.
-Arrival & departure clean, also a mid clean for bookings of 2 weeks or more during May - October, including linen and towel changes. Additional cleans can be booked if required for a small cost.
A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of £50 per week is required to secure a booking, the balance being due 10 weeks before departure.
CANCELLATIONS: within 2-8 weeks of departure 50% refund.
within 2 weeks of departure NO refund will be given.
A REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT of £100 is required before departure to cover possible breakages/damages to the apartment and will be refunded upon return following checks by our local agent.
