About the home

Oaklands is situated in an elevated position within the area of Ovacik,a quiet area of detached villas and apartments with a ten minute walk to all bars, clubs and restaurants of Ovacik and Hisaranou. The villa has 4 bedrooms, two double and two twin. Ideal for families or a group of friendsor just couples.

.The Villa is a spacious two-storey property plus basement. The accommodation is tastefully furnished throughout. In the basement there is 1 Double bedroom and 1 Twin bedroom, with separate bathroom with walk in shower. On the ground floor the large lounge is comfortably furnished. There are doors leading out onto the large L shaped terrace overlooking one of the communal pools. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a large fridge/freezer, washing machine, oven and microwave also a water cooler for drinking. All utensils for self catering are available. There is also a downstairs cloakroom. On the first floor there is a further double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, 1 twin bedroom and separate bathroom with walk in shower. Both bedrooms have their own private balcony with table and chairs. All bedrooms and lounge area are fully air conditioned. From the balcony there are views over looking the surrounding area and the Babadag mountains and the complex pool.

Further details outdoors:
On the large L shaped terrace there is a brick built BBQ and a large patio table with 8 chairs with cushions,also two communal pools with ample sun loungers and parasoles, There is a pool side snack bar selling a wide variety of food and soft and alcholic drinks and can also provide the basic groceries i.e toilet rolls, bread, eggs, milk etc, Oaklands is a well appointed family complex with plenty of activities around the surronding area.

Transfers to and from Dalaman airport can be arranged.
£70.00 Return upto 8 people.
Transfer time is approximately 1 Hour.

A welcome pack is available if required at a small charge
cot or highchair is available on request at a charge

There is a holding fee for any damages or breakages of £200 Chq which is refundable after a inventory check has been carried out.

Deposit £100 per week for villa (Non refundable) is required to secure the booking.
Balance to be paid 8 weeks before start of Holiday.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

This beautiful stretch of coastline is know as the Turkish Riviera or Turquoise coast and is breathtaking.Summer temperatures average 30-40C with a winter average of 16C. The village of Hisaronu is located on a plateau 1,000FT above sea level under Mount Badadag. There are stunning views of the pineclad mountains with a refreshing cooling breeze from the sea in the hot summer.

The Hisaronu / Ovacik area

Hisaronu:
Hisaronu town is about a 20 min easy walk from the Oaklands complex, and contains all the amenities expected from a small town abroad. Cash points, shops, pharmacies, doctors, supermarkets, Monday market, lively bars, and restaurants are all available. The restaurants cater for all budgets - a typical 3 course meal is approx. £7.50, and also tastes:- Indian, Chinese, Italian, Turkish, English, Mexican.

Fethiye:
No more than a 15 min dolmus ride away is Fethiye. Fethiye is a working market town and port, and as such offers a wide variety of shops and curios to wander round, restaurants to eat in, and boat owners with whom to plan memorable boat excursions. Fethiye is steeped in history and the amazing Fethiye Lycian rock tombs on the face of the east of the city are clearly visible when walking through the town.

Oludeniz:
Oludeniz is Turkey’s most famous and photographed beach - a wide bay of coarse white sand curving round to meet a sheltered natural lagoon. The water in the lagoon is warm, still and crystal clear, making the lagoon a wonderful spot for children to play and explore. The beach front of Oludeniz is a fantastic place to either sun bath, or experience the relaxed atmosphere of the many beach bars and restaurants. Sit and watch the paragliders coming in to land from Babadag mountain whilst taking a break from the sun, or party to the early hours of the morning.

Kaya Koy:
The ‘Ghost Village’ of Kaya Koy or as it was known for much of it’s history ‘Levissi’ is approx. 10 mins from the Oaklands complex by car. Wander round this 'haunted' village, take in its history and afterwards dine at one of the many fantastic restaurants. A visit to Kaya Koy of an evening is particularly recommended as this is when the village is lit up and evening mists settle, providing a stunning backdrop to a wonderful meal. Most or nearly all of the restaurants in the area provided a pick up and drop off service to your accommodation at either little or no charge.
