Halcyon Days Hotel is located in Ovacik which is on the outskirts of Fethiye town, Hisaronu village and Oludeniz beach. Oludeniz beach is renowned for it high standards and has received blue flag awards for its sanitary and safety facilities. Our location is quiet and peaceful, yet is only minutes from local bars, restaurants and shopping opportunities. The hotel benefits from its own private pool including a dip pool, perfect for the non swimmers, children and disabled. Rooms are en-suite with spacious balcony's with stunning mountain views, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to enjoy the views. With family, double and single bedrooms, the hotel is ideal for all, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay. there are also water coolers in each bedroom with hot and cold water available Tea and coffee making facilities in each room

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
The area surrounding Ovacik, Hisaronu, Fethiye and Oludeniz is referred to as the Turquoise Coast due to the beautiful and inviting hue of the surrounding warm, Mediterranean seas. Due to its position on the South Western Mediterranean coast the area benefits from a long seasonal weather which facilitates all year round holidaying. This mixed with fantastic local sights such as Kaya Koy, Calis plaza and Fethiye harbour.

Hisaronu / Ovacik area
Ovacik Halcyon Days is set in the peaceful tranquil setting of Ovacik. Approximately 50 minutes from Dalaman Airport. Ovacik lies between the lively harbour port of Fethiye, Hisaronu and Oludeniz. The beautıful blue lagoon ıs sıtuated ın Olu Denız Fethiye All are only a 5 mınutes away by local bus. Fethiye hosts a wide selection of restaurants offering traditional and international dishes. This harbour town offers the regions best shopping, with boutiques, fashion stores, supermarkets, patisseries and a lively weekly market held on Tuesdays with market stalls of clothes, shoes, music, DVDs, material and many more unique stalls. There is a food produce market where food can be purchased fresh from the many local farms in the area. Fethiye is 10 minutes away from Halcyon Days by local bus the Dolmus. Hisaronu Village Hisaronu village offers a variety of experiences for the family and guests who want to relax in this picturesque village which then comes alive at night to entertain. A mix of family friendly restaurants offering varied menus including English, Turkish, Italian, Chinese and Indian cuisine.
Furthermore, a selection of shops with local trades, jewellery, clothing, souvenirs allow browsing at a leisurely pace day and night. The village stays open until early hours during the summer months. The village is 8 minutes away from Halcyon Days by Dolmus or a comfortable 20 minutes walk.
Oludeniz Oludeniz offers a variety of night life with beach bars, restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The beautiful blue lagoon in the National Park of Oludeniz is located 10 minutes from Halcyon Days by Dolmus. On the back of the lagoon is the unspoilt beach areas named Sugar Beach, where the clear shallow waters of the lagoon allows family activities to take place in a calm and relaxing environment. The beach at Oludeniz offers a variety of water sports and boat trips, while paragliding can be experienced from the mountains that overlook the beach.
The location of Halcyon Days Hotel allows it's guests to experience the delights of it's surroundings from historical to the award winning beaches the area has to offer. The Dolmus operates every 7 minutes and is only 2 minutes walk from Halcyon Days. There are plenty of Taxis and vehicle rental is available from a range of operators. A passport and driving licence are required when hiring a vehicle.
How to get there
The pansiyon is a 50 minute transfer from the nearest airport which is Dalaman. This airport as just received a new Terminal and is very easy to use. We can arrange your transfer from the airport or you may choose to use one of the many car hire companies on offer if you wish to travel during your stay. On leaving the Airport travel along the exit road to the D400. Turn right on to the D400. Sign posted for Fethiye. Stay on this road through the Dalaman Tunnel, which will cost you 2.5YTL. After about 40mins you should come across the turning for Fethiye/Oludeniz, which will be on your right. Continue along this road to a big island where you will see a Shell petrol station. Go straight over and continue up and over a large hill. There will be another Shell petrol station on your left. Go past until you come to a cemetary. Turn left at the turning to the side of the cemetary and we are 500 yards on the left. The Airline we have had some great deals with and highly recommmend is flythomascook. They have some great deals and allow you choose the dates you would like. Try to book early to get best deals. Once at our Pansiyon, travel is very easy and the Dolmus(bus) is a cheap and excellent way to travel. If you are departing in over 10 weeks time you can choose to pay either the full amount now or a deposit of 30%, with the outstanding balance due 9 weeks prior to your departure. The 30% deposit is non-refundable should you cancel your holiday within 3 weeks of you arrival date. No pets.
