This fully air-conditioned villa has a large moon shaped pool . Everyone who visits Moonpool are impressed by its very large, light and airy rooms - the lounge and bedrooms being particularly spacious. It is situated in the village of Ovacik amongst the tranquility of the Babadag mountains and green valleys.A ten minute bus ride away from the natural port and harbour of Fethiye,a few minutes walk away from Hisaronu which has numerous shops and restaurants and a wonderful family orientated feel;and a five minute bus ride away from the famous Oludeniz beach with crystal clear waters and many sandy coves. ADDED BONUS:whilst renting the Moonpool Villa you are also entitled to a full use of the Orka Hotel facilities(5minutes walk) which has 4 restaurants,7 bars,1 indoor pool and two outdoor(one of which has an aquaslide),table tennis,billiards and internet saloon.There is also a health club where you can pay for those indulging extras such as turkish bath,sauna,steam room and massage saloon. Included in the rental charge is full maid service 2/3 times a week, changing all linen and towels.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
The Lycia coast offers the most spectacular coastline in the mediterranean, wonderful culture and history, unbeatable hospitality and EXCELLENT value for money! Among the many natural wonders are the pristine turquoise blue waters with tiny and picturesque coves, lush mediterranean vegetation and a summer of blue skies,with never a drop of rain from June to September. There for this area is truly a natural paradise, where the locals are the friendliest of people and the Turkish cuisine bares witness to culture that is a thousand years old.
Hisaronu / Ovacik area
OUDENIZ is world famous and one of the most beautiful wonders of the world. On the main beach of Oludeniz you can enjoy water sports or experience parascending from the summit of the Babadag mountains down to the sandy beach of Oludeniz. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and shopping facilities.
FETHIYE -The bay of Fethiye provides a natural port and harbour and is an important stop for yachtsmen from all over the world. There are numerous boat trips to neighbouring islands, water taxis to other coastal resorts and a huge weekly market which takes place every Tuesday.
GOCEK - (30 minutes) - For many years the natural harbour of Gocek has been enjoyed and admired by yatchsmen from all over the world. Today the village and its impressive marina is visited by international travellers who enjoy the chance to stay in one of the most beautiful coastal settings in Europe. Sparkling turquoise waters are complimented by natural inlets and rugged soaring mountains. From Gocek marina you can book special sailing trips and trips to local beaches and nature reserves around the bay.
SAKLIKENT - Is a 40 minute journey either by local bus, organised trip or self-drive hire car. The attraction here is a cool, dark, narrow gorge about 300m high and 18km long carved out by the churning waters of the Esen River. You can gain access to the gorge by means of a suspended wooden catwalk - for the less intrepid, restaurants at the base of the gorge are well known for their fresh trout caught locally. Spend an unforgetable day here, either exploring the gorge or dozing in one of the large hammocks positioned over the cool mountain waters. In the summer the Turks come here to escape the heat and wallow in the cool, green calm.

Further details indoors: Moonpool offers very good sized accommodation with open plan lounge/diner and fully fitted kitchen. It has three patio doors leading from the lounge/diner which lead straight on to terraces where you can relax and enjoy the views of the mountains and also the beautiful large moon shaped swimming pool. Steps from the terraces lead you onto the paved sun bathing area and laid to lawn gardens around the pool. Rental charge includes maid service - cleaning/changing of all linen and towels 3 times a week
Further details outdoors: The pool is a large moon-shape and has extended patio areas with gazeebo for shaded dining in the heat of the day. Within the walled garden there are, bbq,sun loungers and the use of pool toys, games and lilos.

We have just returned from a fabulous holiday at Moonpool Villa. The villa itself, with lovely views across the mountains, is brand new, very spacious and the pool speaks for itself - the shape of the moon, lit up at night was magical. The location is excellent, 4 mins from the road to catch the regular bus service to Fethiye (the boat trip is a must) and to the beautiful blue lagoon at Oludeniz. With full use of Orka Hotel (5 mins away) facilities, where the staff go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your holiday, their hospitality is second to none you couldn't be better located and also just down the road is the resort of Hisaronu. A relaxing holiday which ticked all the boxes - would highly recommend and hope to go back soon. Sandra, Ken & family, Staffordshire.
July 2007 - Moonpool villa is a beautiful place to spend a relaxing and comfortable holiday. It has all the comforts of home but with the added attractions of stunning views of the mountains, use of a lovely spacious pool and the extensive facilities of the Orka Hotel which is only 5 minutes walk away. It is also ideally situated to enable easy access to numerous restaurants, shops and the gorgeous beach and sea at Oludeniz. You don't need to hire a car because the dolmus buses are so frequent and convenient. Everyone was so friendly and helpful that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the villa to couples and families alike. I had a wonderful holiday and I am counting the weeks when I can visit again. August 2007 Our holiday at Moonpool villa was over too quickly. 7 days just wasn't enough to appreciate and absorb all the area has to offer. The villa itself is faultless and exudes a sense of home from home. Located far enough away to be peaceful yet close enough for all available amenities, which includes full use of the Orka Hotel (splendid) - 5 minutes walk away. Going back very soon. We would like to thank you for a memorable time we had holidaying in your villa. The villa is spacious, comfortable and well equipped with plenty of furniture and when the lights came on at night in the pool and around the patio it was a beautiful sight and very relaxing. We felt completely at home staying in Moonpool and in Turkey itself, we found the locals to be very friendly and welcoming and when our holiday came to an end it was the first time for all of us that we really didn't want to return home. On a personal note Lynn we would like to thank you for all your help when we first arrived, you went out of your way and more importantly took time from your own holiday to ensure that when we had a few unforeseen circumstances at the start of our holiday, you were there with help and advice and most importantly as a friend.
