About the home

A lovely three bedroomed apartment set in a small complex with spectacular views of the mountains and forest. Ideal for families and couples alike. You can either relax near the pool or venture out to the shops or restaurants which are only a few minutes walk away, but at the same time you can enjoy the peace and quiet of your surroundings.

The apartment is fully furnished with air conditioning and central heating. Oludeniz beach (one of the best beaches in Turkey) is only a few minutes bus ride away which runs every 5 minutes and cost about 50p. The complex has a 24 hour service.

The apartment has the benefit of a full size bath as well as a shower room. All furniture and fittings are brand new. We also have cable with several english channels and a range of dcds/cds for your enjoyment. The apartment has been furnished to a high standard and is comprised of the following:

Bedroom 1: King sized bed
Bedroom 2: Twin bedded room (2 Single beds)
Bedroom 3: Single bed plus a Cot bed
There is also a bed settee downstairs

Further details outdoors:
The complex has a swimming pool which is maintianed every day. The sun loungers, parasols and tables are provided solely for the use of the apartment.

A cafe bar is at the front of the apartment complex where you can buy a super full english breakfeast for £3.00 and a good range of snacks are available. The views from the balcony are stunning with a bbq to complete a day either at the beach or sigh-seeing.

Towels supplied are not to used for use at the beach or poolside.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

The Turquoise coast has become the destination of choice for many first time and repeat visitors to Turkey. The coastline from Marmaris to Fethiye is green and spectacular, the beaches are some of the best in Turkey. not forgetting the excellent climate.

The Turquoise Coast was so named because of the blue-green hue of the bordering sea. It’s an unofficial region extending approximately from Alanya in the east to just beyond Antalya in the west.

There’s a lot to see and enjoy outside of your hotel; some of that is several miles away. A motor vehicle is convenient, but not absolutely necessary. Taxis are available everywhere, public buses regularly run between the major cities/sites on the coast, tour companies provide transportation to historic places, and rental cars are available at the airport.

The Hisaronu / Central Hisaronu area

Hisaronu is located a couple of kilometres on a plateau from Olu Deniz beach. Dolumuses run every 5 minutes. It is easy to get around and is relatively flat for the young and elderly. Eating and drinking is cheap with an array of turkish/european restaurants to chose from (you can buy a 3 course meal for approx £7).

Hisaronu, provides an ideal base to explore many of the local historical sites. The popular Turquoise Coast, was home to the ancient Lycians who were one of the most enigmatic people of antiquity. Although little historical record has been left behind, what has been discovered, reveals a fascinating people culturally distinct from the rest of the ancient world. Around twenty major sites remain today with the Lycians' unusual funerary architecture dominating the breathtaking unspoiled land of Lycia.

You can also visit Saklikent Gorge; the ruins of Ephesus and the mud baths at Dalyan. (All trips are very reasonable the mud baths which is a day trip cost £9 last year and that was with lunch included). Also for the more adventurous you can go para gliding or on a four wheel safari which has rave reviews from the past guests.

Fethiye is only 20 minutes away by bus. Once there you can either take a boat ride to any one of the islands or visit the waterpark. There are plenty of restaurants and bars, ready to cater to all tastes. The harbour and local market which takes place on a Tuesday and is huge is well worth a visit.

Fly to Dalman airport. Private transfers can be arranged at an approx cost of £60 approx return for up to four passengers (£15 for additional passengers). The transport will meet you at the airport and take you direct to the complex (to the door).

Flights vary in price but normally speaking it is better and cheaper to book in advance, some airlines to try would be Thomson Fly, Aegean Flights (aegean.co.uk) Thomas Cook and several other airlines, best to try on the web and look for the cheapest.

We go twice a year in June and September the apartment is in a nice location with a private swimming pool. It is well equipped and nicely furnished.
