Home description

Paulina apartments are a new build, only 3 minutes walk from the centre of the town of Hisaronu.
The accommodation comprises 2 double bedrooms (1 ensuite), one shower room/wc, fully fitted kitchen and Sitting Room with sofa bed & Fold-Up Bed. The kitchen comes complete with fridge, cooker, microwave, washing machine and all cutlery and cooking utensils.The first floor has a small balcony overlooking the pool, while the upstairs bedroom has a fantastic rooftop terrace, giving glorious views of the town and surrounding mountains.Great for that gin and tonic before you venture out at night for your evening meal and visit to the town.
The large swimming pool is shared with only 5 other apartments and there is also a small children's pool.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

This stretch of the Turkish coastline is known as the Turkish Riviera or Turquoise Coast and stretches from Fethiye in the west, right through to the Syrian border in the east. Without doubt one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline anywhere in the Mediterranean.
The area from Fethiye to Kemer is known as Lycia and has Turkey's most dramatic coastline, with mountains falling away into the crystal clear seas.
Summer temperatures average 30 - 40 degrees between May and November.

Hisaronu / Hisaronu centre area

The village of Hisaronu and Ovacik are located on a plateau 1,000 ft above sea level under Mount Babadag.
All around there are magnificent views of pine clad mountains and during the summer months, there is usually a cooling breeze coming in from the seas.
Fethiye the main market town of the area is about 7 kilometres and the famous "blue lagoon" at Oludeniz about 4 kilometres, both easily visited by the local Dolmus bus rides.
Hisaronu offers something for everybody, with its many colourful bars and restaurants to the splendid shops selling their designer watches and cothes!
The restaurants cater for many a discerning pallet, with English, Chinese, Indian, Mexican and of course the local Turkish and Greek meals on the menu. The staff are the most friendly we have ever encountered and all speak English.
Places to visit:
TLOS: Located 28 kilometres from Fethiye, Tlos is one of the oldest residential areas of Lycia, continuing to be inhabited until the 19th Century. Tlos was the home of the mythological winged horse Pegasus and his rider Bellerephon, who crashed to earth after challenging the Gods.
SAKLIKENT CANYON: A modern day wonder of the world, where nature has created a massive canyon in the rocks, 300 metres deep and 18 kilometres long. Walk along the side on the service bridge and watch the rapidly flowing waters cascading along. A great visit for the amateur photographer or geogolist.
YAKAPARK & YAKA VILLAGE: Sip your drink at the bar while the local trout swin past in the middle of the bar counter,quite literally - a splendid scene that man has created alongside nature. The surrounding pools and waterfalls flow down from the mountain in amazing torrents - another great photo opportunity.
KAKA KOYU - only a 10 minute Dolmus ride away - explore the extensive ruins of the old Greek settlement.
Once inhabited by 3500 citizens, the Greeks left in 1922 after a population exchange with Turkey. The Tukish people, not liking to live on the side of a mountain, left, leaving behind the "ghost town" known as Kaka Koyo.

How to get there

The nearest airport is Dalaman (DLM) which is about 45 minutes away.
We will arrange your transfer, so that you will be collected from the airport and taken directly
to our apartment where you will be provided with the keys.
You will be notified 2 days before your departure about pick up times, and on the day you will
be collected and taken back to the airport.
Transfer costs depend on the number of people in the party.

Top Floor: Main bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, fitted safe and dressing table, Air conditioning.
Ensuite shower and wc. and door to rooftop terrace with its glorious views of the town and surrounding areas.
First Floor: Twin bedded room with wardrobe, dressing table, fold up bed and air conditioning.
Kitchen: Fully fitted with cooker, washing machine, microwave and kettle. All plates and cutlery and cooking utensils.
Sitting Room: Sofa bed and further 3 seater sofa, dining table and chairs with patio door leading to balcony.
Bathroom with shower and wc.
All windows are fitted with mosquito nets and mosquito plugs and adaptors are supplied.
The apartment is cleaned once a week and includes a full linen change. Hand and bath towels are provided and changed once a week.

Further details outdoors:
The apartment is one of only 6 apartments and has a large private pool with a small children's pool annexed to it. Pool furniture is provided and there is ample space for customers to sun bathe in privacy.
The pool and gardens has its own personal gardener who maintains it on a day to day basis.
The apartments are situated only 3 minutes walk away from the town centre, but far enough away to give you that peace and quiet during the day and evening if you prefer.
Within easy walking distance (300 yards) there are small supermarkets selling everything you could want.
You can even order door to door service if your feeling particularly lazy!!

A lovely apartment, the photographs don't do it justice. It is well located, close enough to stroll to some excellent restaurants, shops etc but far enough away for it to be very quiet & peaceful.
Lovely pool that is kept immaculately clean on a daily basis.
Would definitely re-book without any hesitation - and they did!!!
