About the home

This large, airy and spacious, privately owned apartment and is furnished and maintained to a very high standard.

You can enjoy this lovely peaceful location lying by the pools or you can choose to go into Hisaronu, Fethiye or Olu Deniz for the many restaurants, shops, beaches and other activities. It has everything you will need close by to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. The large lounge and dining area can comfortably accommodate six people with balconies front and rear to give further living space.

The master bedroom is en suite, including a full size bath and separate shower. The master bedroom also has its own private roof terrace to allow private sunbathing or to just enjoy the stars with a nightcap before retiring.

The Grena complex is maintained to a very high standard and provides a safe and carefree environment for your family holiday. The site has 24 hour security.

Free Wi-fi is available at the on-site snack bar.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Ovacik and its neighbouring village of Hisaronu are ideally situated at the foot of the 6,000 foot high Babadag mountain, half-way between the town of Fethiye and the magnificent beach and Blue Lagoon at Olu Deniz. This popular tourist area is dominated by British with very few other nationalities represented.

Most Turks speak some English. Many speak very good English, especially in shops, restaurants and service industries.

Ovacik is 1,000 feet above sea level and benefits from slightly cooler temperatures than on the coast. A gentle cooling breeze also assists in making the summer temperature ideal for relaxing in.

The complex is situated 100 metres off the main road so has virtually no road noise but benefits from the close proximity of the Dolmus and taxi routes to take you wherever you want to go. Two local grocery shops are situated on the main road where most provisions can be bought. Hisaronu now has a supermarket (AZDA!) for your larger shop. The markets in both Fethiye and Hisaronu can provide very reasonably priced food, gifts and clothing.

The Hisaronu / Ovacik area

The area boasts a remarkable range of activites and places of interest. Highlights for days out are the 6 or 12 island boat trips, the mighty Saklikent gorge, the sandy 18km long Patara beach, the ancient tombs at Tlos and many, many more.

Nearly all activities can be found locally such a horse riding, paragliding, water skiing. The area also has restaurants to suit every taste and budget.

Simply sitting on the beach watching the beautiful sunset at Olu Deniz certainly takes some beating.

Fly to Dalaman airport airport which benefits from new, spacious international terminal. Transfer to Ovacik takes about 45 minutes now the new tunnel is open.

The apartment was excellent, its large and airy and very clean. It is well equipped with everything that you will need for your stay. We had a lovely time staying there, perfect location for the children right between the two pools. The location of the apartment in Ovacik is right in between Hisaronu and Fethyie, which again is just right!
