Due to its high location in the Ovacik valley, the view is stunning. In the distance, the Mediterranean Sea glistens and on a clear day you can even see the Island Of Rhodes. There are a few local bars and stores close by, or the nearest town of Hisaronu is only a 10 minute walk

The villa is split into 3 levels, with 3 bedrooms on the first floor and 2 bedrooms on the lower ground floor. Having two floors of bedrooms, one above the living area and the other below, make it an ideal layout for two families sharing. All bedrooms have their own en-suites.
The lounge is a lovely bright room with two sets of patio doors overlooking the swimming pool and garden. There is an LCD TV with DVD player along with air conditioning and sofa bed. From this room, doors open onto a large terrace overlooking the pool.

Guest will have free and unlimited access to the nearby 4* Orka Hotel offering 3 swimming pools, kids club, table
tennis, TV entertainment lounge, gym and Turkish bath.
For families/groups who are interested, we are close friends with the owners of the villa next door so between the two villas can accommodate up to 20 people.

To book this property, a 25% non refundable deposit is requested with a final balance paid 8 weeks prior to departure
The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
Turkey is usually very warm and sunny and the Turquoise Coast is no exception to this. The villa is set at the foot of the Babadag Mountains and so receives cooling breezes which are most welcome in the height of summer.
This stretch of the Turkish coastline is known as the Turkish Riviera or Turquoise Coast. The area is one of Turkeys most beautiful, offering a perfect mix of beach resorts, mountain scenery and small rural villages.
The Lycian Way starts here and is one of the worlds most famous walks, it follows the coast for 509km and ends in Antalya. Probably for serious walkers only, but offers some fabulous views of the coastline and the opportunity to see some of the real Turkey.
Approximately 40mins drive away is Saklikent, a natural gorge, 18km long and reaches 600m in places. It is a unique place to visit, where the ice cold water comes down from the mountains, with mountaineering, trekking, rafting, swimming and even a therapeutic mud bath!!
Yakapark is very close to Saklikent, here you can sample the local trout in tranquil surroundings. The restaurant area is shaded by ancient trees with small rivers and springs and offering the opportunity to sit up at one of the amazing tree top tables.
If you wish to go further afield you can visit Pamukkale & Ephesus reputed to be the 8th wonder of the world, it is a 2 day trip but well worth it.
The Hisaronu / Ovacik area
The town comes to life in the evenings with it's many bars, shops and restaurants with cuisine to suit all tastes.
You can find something to suit every tastes such as paragliding, waterskiing, quad biking, white water rafting, boat trips, jeep safaris, scuba diving, snorkelling, fishing and much more.
Locally the ghost town Kayakoy is a short dolmus (bus) ride away, the buses are cheap and frequent. The markets at Fethiye and in the village are not to be missed if you like a bargain.
The beach and lagoon at Olu Deniz is one of the most beautiful and most photographed beaches in the world. You can make your own way there on the dolmus, hire a car or take the free shuttle bus from the villa.

This cleverly designed villa in Ovacik is superbly located and is easily accessible to Olu Deniz Beach, the town of Fethiye and the nightlife in Hisaronu. The staff in the nearby Orka Hotel maintain the villa diligently and are on hand to offer advice on all the activities taking place locally. For the first time visitor to Turkey there is ample information available to ensure that your stay is an enjoyable one. My family especially enjoyed the pool on the complex which was never too full providing a totally relaxing area to take in the stunning mountain and sea views. A not to be missed experience for all members of the family, young or more mature! |

First class villa in a beautiful location...yet so close by to everything you'd ever need when on holidays. The bars, restaurants, supermarkets etc are all within 20 mins walking distance. The blue lagoon at Olu Deniz beach is a short taxi ride away. Absolutely perfect and the accommodation has it all .... Really spacious, fantastic decor and has all the facilities to make your stay superb ....all set within a few yards from the large swimming pool and the views of the Babadag mountains surrounding you ....I was so impressed that I immediately booked it again for 2013 |
