The property is located within a pretty gated community, only a couple of minutes from the main road which leads from Fethiye to the town of Hisaronu and beautiful beach area of Oludeniz. It has 24-hour security and although close to the road, is quiet and tranquil, as no cars are allowed inside the development. It is therefore very safe for families and set in a pine-forest, benefits from stunning mountain views in all directions.

From the main road, the local bus 'dolmus', which runs every 5 minutes, will take you to the local town or beach, only a 10 minute ride away, so while being in a peaceful location, the shops, restaurants, beaches and nightlife are all easily accessible.

Being on a hillside however, makes it unsuitable for people with mobility problems.

All items are in new condition, having had very little previous use.

Further details outdoors

The large outdoor pool with restaurant and bar is a short walk from the villa. Each villa has its own sun umbrella and sunloungers for the use of its guests only.

The private garden and terrace are ideal for sunbathing, relaxing in the shade with a book and a cool drink or eating 'al fresco' should you wish to dine in.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

The village of Ovacik is located between the main historic town of Fethiye, with its ancient ruins, bustling harbour, shops and weekly market and the beautiful blue lagoon of Oludeniz, one of the most stunning and photographed beaches in Turkey. The lagoon area is part of a conservation area and although there is a small charge to access it, it is well worth the a visit. You can laze on one of the many surrounding beaches, bathe in the blue waters or hire a pedalo.

All other types of boats are banned, so that the area retains its peace and stillness. The turquoise waters of the lagoon are surrounded by Babadag mountain, to which people are drawn from all over the world for the paragliding. Even as a complete novice, you can enjoy the experience, accompanied by a professional paraglider. The main beach area and town of Oludeniz offers a variety of watersports, boat trips, restaurants and shops and can be reached from Ovacik in about 10 minutes aat a cost of approximately £1.

Hisaronu

The local hilltop town of Hisaronu offers a wide variety of restaurants, ranging from English, Chinese, Indian, Mexican, Italian and of course Turkish cuisine, at about half the cost of a meal here in England. You will find a variety of tourist shops, supermarkets and of course all the nightlife you need, from clubs, pubs, karaoke, discos, theme nights to full-blown nightclubs and the traditional Turkish baths. Hisaronu and Ovacik being at higher altitude from the coast is slightly cooler and can bring some relief from the intense heat of the coast in the summer months.

Fethiye is the main town of the region and boasts much historical interest, including Lycian rock tombs. It is less of a tourist town than Hisaronu and caters more for the local population. From the harbour, you can take a boat trip to 12 islands, or a water taxi to Calis beach, where there is also a waterpark. Fethiye also hosts a fantastic weekly market every Tuesday with fresh local produce, such as fruit, salads, feta cheese, olives, nuts, Turkish Delight etc, as well as clothing, textiles, shoes and household goods.

Other places of interest nearby include the 'ghost town' of Kayacou, the remains of a village deserted by the Greeks in 1922, from the summit of which can be enjoyed spectacular views of the surrounding areas. Also of interest is the amazing gorge at Saklikent, Lycian tombs of Tloss and the turtle island and mud baths of Dalyan. Further afield can be found the ancient site of Ephesus and the snow white mountain of Pamukkale or 'cotton castle' as it is known for its white calcium covering. At the top you can bathe in natural hot springs as warm as bath water.

Numerous other activities can be found including a ride in a microlite plane, trekking, horseriding, jeep safaris, quad bike or cycle hire, fishing, canoeing and all manner of watersports.
