About the home

The Villa benefits from its own private pool and a large garden to play games. Leading from the living room is a spacious balcony with a stunning view of the surrounding valley, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With one double and two twin bedrooms ( one twin bedroom has full sized bunk beds) .There is a sofa bed in the sitting room and one in the basement plus a fold up bed in basement. There is a full sized table tennis table in the basement and various board games and a darts board. The villa is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay. The area is also great fun for young people with lots of free and friendly nightclubs and many bars and restaurants.

The nearby hotel complex that you would have access to provides nightly entertainment, has bars, swimming pools, spectacular slides, a jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish baths, a massage suite and a gym.

The Villa is situated just five minutes from the main town with many excellent restaurants and a well-stocked local supermarket. Quiet, beautiful and peaceful, set in a lush mountainous valley, yet only fifteen minutes from the raw beauty of Oludeniz, set in a national park. There is also easy access by cheap shared taxis to Fethiye, a fishing town that boosts a beautiful harbour, a wonderful local market for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants with fish as a speciality. You can also take day trips to Rhodes or take a day excursion exploring the local marine life.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

The Lycian coast is rated amongst the most beautiful areas in the world, looked over by the Tauras mountain range with its pine and olive tree slopes. The coastline, with its pristine turquoise blue waters, tiny, picturesque coves and islands, has little rain and endless sunshine throughout the summer months.

FREE ACCESS TO PRIVATE BEACH IN THE BEAUTIFUL BLUE LAGOON IN OLUDENIZ:
Orka Club has its own private beach that as our guest you are welcomed to use. This entitles you to free transport to and from Oludeniz and free sunbeds and umbrellas. This is the nearest and the most beautiful of beaches in the area.

When we eat at Oludeniz in the evenings we have a lovely meal then sometimes swim in the sea. The more popular restaurants with terraces looking out to sea get booked up so you might want to reserve a table. Generally speaking lots of places have pools and are happy for you to use them so kids should always have their costumes on or handy. If you are singers there is a great Karaoke bar in Oludeniz just walk to the end of the sea front and turn left into the main high street it’s about half way up. They give out sparklers and get everyone singing and dancing communally as well.
Easily reached by dolmus (shared taxi service), is the main town of Fethiye enveloped by a beautiful bay that provides a port for the local fishermen and enjoyed by yacht people from all over the world. There are exciting all-day excursions (£10 in 2010, including lunch) provided by boat tour companies visiting 12 islands. For shoppers and bargain hunters the weekly Tuesday market in Fethiye is a must.

The whole region is known for the family-friendly warmth of the local people, offering a range of cuisines, with fish a speciality. There is also plenty for vegetarians to enjoy.

The Turkish culture goes back thousands of years. Signs of its history are everywhere to be seen, including ruins of antique cities and cultural mosiacs. It is also an area famous for its handmade carpets

The Hisaronu / Ovacik area

Access to places is just a few minutes from the villa in the High Street where local shared taxis can take through the mountains, including the natural wonder of the Oludeniz Lagoon Beach and National Park. The Park includes a clear blue lake and even camel riding, para gliding, snorkelling and diving and of course swimming and sunbathing in the tranquil waters.

There is a nearby hotel complex that you would have access to that provides nightly entertainment, has bars, swimming pools, spectacular slides, a jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish baths, a massage suite and a gym.
We are located in Hisaronu and a short stroll from the villa takes you into the lively town which has
a bustling array of shops, restaurants and family-friendly nightclubs. For younger visitors there is a small funfair, Go Karting and trampolining. Our villa is also close to the horse riding centre providing you with a unique way to explore the beautiful countryside..It is also the place to hire cars, book boat trips and excursions (para gliding, diving and jeep safari trips)
